Chuck Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 The small Prop-Plane from 06 had two booklets. Also, it just has that Promo look and doesn't fall into any of the current or future City themes. Sorry to dissapoint anyone :'-( -Chuck Quote

Besides, there is a city impulse set coming that has a kayak. But it isn't your fault. Besides, it was mentioned here but I missed it. (I was playing Resistance Fall of Man at the time!) I'll have to add this to the Promo Club then. X-D Quote

Scouty Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I thought it was clear from the beginning that it was an airline promo :-/ i.e., 2 instruction booklets for a small set.-Chuck I'm more disappointed about the airlines they feature on. Of the ones you said, I don't think I've been on any one of them :'-( . Thanks for the information, though! Quote

Freddie Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Found on brickshelf: 20002 Brickmaster, Firechief's Car (?) Looks decent, to be honest - I've heard previous sets were rubbish. Quote
whung Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Found on brickshelf: 20002 Brickmaster, Firechief's Car (?) Looks decent, to be honest - I've heard previous sets were rubbish. Yes, it is the BrickMaster Exclusive 20002 Fire Car The instruction of 20002 is uploaded in lego cache as well http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4532867.pdf Quote
Brainbox Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Here's a new pic of some of the stuff from this years Advent Calendar: http://toyfair08.asmzine.com/gallery/lego/...s/DSC03714.html Aww, a cat stuck up a tree. And how big is that snowman?! There's a few pics of the Coastguard stuff here and here as well. Quote
Siegfried Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 There's a few pics of the Coastguard stuff here and here as well. .... and more here! *sweet* So it appears the hull is new! *wub* (Odd shape though...) Quote
Brainbox Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 (Odd shape though...) It is a bit odd, yeah. Tall, but a bit, well, squashed. I quite like the look of the helicopter. And is that a flare in the rescue pod? Quote
Wouwie Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I think it's a flare (I think you mean what's circel in red?). And is it a 9-Volt light (circeld in red)? Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 (edited) Thank you very much for the new pics, brainbox and Sinner! I already commented on the new advent calendar ( *y* ) in that topic: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...pic=15584&st=30 My comments on the other CG sets: Positive: I like the quad car and the 4wd with jetski becuase they are really nice little sets. The rescue helicopter is very big - but it is very nice, too. The life raft is very well done and the lighthouse *wub* , too! *y* Negative: How I feared - the petrol boat has no back wall in the bridge and in the room downstairs. And it also seems that there is no interior in the room downstairs. That's really a pity :'-( because this boat could have been a so nice one - but without back walls and without interior in the room downstairs it's only a half thing! *n* But all in all the new CG theme is a great theme *wub* and I hope that TLG will expand the harbor theme in 2009, too (e. g. with a tanker and/or a passenger ship) ;-) ! snefroe Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 i've been comparing the german and belgian catalogs for the first 6 months of 2008 and... hm... the german doesn't mention the coast guard theme at all (for the next half of the year, that is), except for the big truck+boat and that's only available for a short while |-/ Belgium will get the goast guard theme but not this truck+boat set... hm... Piranha Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 *wub* After looking at the new Toy fair pics I have more to say The rescue helicopter is probably the only one I will buy because its awesome! I have always liked helicopters but most LEGO versions are poorly done except for a few of them. This is one of them *wub* I see lots of cockpit room as well as plenty of room for passengers who need to be rescued! The little life boat dewy type thing is pretty cool too. I hope the little flare lights up! The use of orange JSF panels is very nice 8- Quote
