I'm a bit late to answer...

I really like this new CG set! The use of thosebrige pieces is really nice! The overal look of the platform rocks a lot! And like with the general line, I like the colour scheme!

The only bad thing is the wildscreen of the helicpoter. I don' like it. This piesce is used in the same way as the firefighter helicopter, which I find not so good... Oh well, I will do with that minor negative point! :hmpf_bad:

I've just been through the instructions of the 7738 life boat (which I found just  ) and I noticed those

newpiece.jpg

is this a new piece? I wonder if it means the end of the click hinges, since that one and a normal 1x1 with clip has the same result as they use in this set...

The piece is new for this year and is available in at least seven sets in theese four colors: white, light bley, dark bley and red.

Really? :oh: Can anyone tell me which sets these are?

Darth Legois 619: Yeah, whung said those were promos, so basically they're exclusives. No worries though, if you can't find them, then you could always try Bricklink

Hmmm i hope its like the Ambulance Plane since that came to an Australian Retailer :cry_happy: Because i want atleast 2 of them :sceptic:

has any one noticed that the glass colour in the coast guard theme is light blue but in the platform (oil rig or misile silo for my lego bond  ) but the helicopter and bottom floor of the cg platform have dark grey glass. I'm sure they will change that like they did with the boat and tower set.

btw, does anyone know when this set will come out?

Thank you very much for the pics and the link, metalandi!

Like I've already said: The platform looks really good.

And I think the price of 50 Euros is quite ok.

Nevertheless I think I'll buy the Petrol Boat & Tower since it needs less space (I think) and includes a bigger ship.

Actually i think the tower & boat needs even more space than the platform, since the pier is pretty big and then you also have the big ship beside it. But it's your desicion i'm gonna get all sets that i'm missing sometime anyway

I would say that the new Coast Guard set 4210 is very unique. My first thought when I looked at the pics was "Offshore Oil Rig". This could definitly be a good set to either modify into an Offshore Oil Rig or create such a model using the 4210 as a guide.

The only set I am disappointed about though is the police seaplane. Here in the US, the price for the set at TRU is $39.99. When you compare the piece quantity-to-price ratio, this is not a good deal. I like the look of the set, just not the price. The cargo plane set and the forklift & truck set though are great. I bought these and I definitly give these two . I really like the new Coast Guard helicopter. As soon as I can get money, I am definitly buying this set. I am soooo glad that TLC finally came out with a 6-bladed chopper. The other coast guard chopper from the '90's would have looked really cool with this concept as well.

Thank you for the pics, they are awesome  . Model On!!

I don't care how much, but i need at least one RIGHT NOW! The interior is kinda similar than the one from the coast guard tower set, but i love that there are also 2 chairs on the ground level, and the medical instrument is different, too. The rail system from the helicopter to the tower also is lovely kinda reminds me of that:

Thank you very much for the link, metalandi! :sweet:

I regrettably have got problems with opening the document (like always with the instructions on S@H :hmpf:) so I sadly can't see the instruction scans of the interior  . Can anyone post a picture of the interior, please :classic: ?

I also eperience problems with it since a while, firefox keeps megablocking up when i open them. Simply try to right click and "save as" on the download link, then you should be able to look at it on the computer itself

EDIT: Sorry I have to do it through a link but I'm afraid that the normal didn't work for some reason... :hmpf_bad:
