Posted October 26, 20159 yr Too small?....not a good set?....it does seem that the entry level sets never get any love or attention. I personally thought 42020 was a great little set and had some excellent parts. These tiny sets are usually very good parts packs, anyways i bought one this morning while i was buying 42040, it was reduced to 7.99 Euro so i said....sure why not (in me best Oirish accent). October 26, 20159 yr I bought this set at the day it appeared in shops, because it's the set I like the most from 1H of 2015 technic sets, and made a review the next day, but it was on other forums and now I understand that it's photos aren't good...
October 26, 20159 yr This is nice little set. It has several good parts. Tried building both A- and B-models without instructions, using pictures available on the box/instructions only...and failed. Internal made in some tricky way. This was still quite fun to give it a try.
October 26, 20159 yr The Lego Store is missing a bet not having the smaller Technic models available, at least the one close to me, they make good impulse items. You are correct about good parts. I bought two of one set just for the parts I wanted---about the same price as buying the parts I wanted plus a lot for my supply.
October 27, 20159 yr I think it's got excellent collection of useful pieces for its price and size, but other than that, well, it's overshadowed by pretty much every other Technic set that came out at the same time. Oh, and you can't fit a hamster in there ;)
October 27, 20159 yr It's neat, it's cheap and easy to buy, my 3 year old likes it. Not a lot more to say
October 27, 20159 yr Oh I bought one,but did not review it. I will think about buying another one and doing a review on it.
October 27, 20159 yr Thank you for drawing my attention to this set, I will buy one (or two) for the black bits (I wish I were not lazy for Bricklinking...)
October 27, 20159 yr A quick look at the onilne parts list, I have the parts to build it without having to buy it. I think a good number of people here would already have those pieces in their collection. It would could make good loot bag handouts for your child's birthday party guests.
