Welp. The folk have rallied against ol' Trenton. That ain't good.

Are you feeling the presure? I'm one person, your comment makes me feel better about my scrutinizing you; why do feel my scrutinizing you means the town rallied against you? I mean I know I'm town ... how do you know I'm town?

Literally years ago. Like at least two years. That's a long time for me.

so ... you have not played (or hosted ) since then? You should know this; don't play innocent! You cannot tell us that you were unaware the kill gets passed on; liar.

Good Lord, I'm sorry. These types of things just get confusing.

Really? its the same thing litterally every time!

I never pushed for info, I was trying to come up with a plan for the cop telling info. Believe me, if the cop got a town result last night, I'm more than happy to let him stay silent.

So yes, you were trying to get the cop to out themselves. You spoke of a town block earlier, just how do you figure this can happen?

"Seems to easy". Come on. That's what you're going with?

It is, it is too easy and by experience, when it's this easy and votes are pouring in without a cop result, it's usualy misplaced.

Okay let's go:

1 - the reasons stated above, I said. Forgive me for not copying down someone else's text and changing a few words here and there. If you want me to do that, I can do that. I won't want to, but I can. Wishy washyness, suspicious activity on previous days, weak defense today - all that fun stuff. It's much easier to agree with someone than to copy down what they say and pretend to make it my own. What's so wrong with agreeing?

2 - I would assume that I'm voting for the same reason the rest of you are voting - to get rid of the scum. Desiree is our best bet. If Desiree flips town, then we'll have to change up our gameplan. Because one thing is certain - we will lose someone tonight, guaranteed. And I'd prefer not to lose two from our number, but I would much rather vote Desiree off than to let her linger with the possibility that she is scum.

3 - It's not a definite statement, although I can see how it could have been taken like that. Desiree's death doesn't mean my death. In fact, all of our lives are equally at stake (except those scum bastards). If we're being honest, even I'm not sure what I meant by that. Mafia-ing at school is just a confusing activity.

1- You don't have an opinion and would rather sheep the vote than make up your own conclusions is what you're saying.

2 - How do you know this? Maybe scum can only kill every other night, maybe one of us is bulletproof, maybe .., maybe a lot of things actually. Your certainty regarding the kill does not look good on you.

3 - Why are scum not at stake? You seem to know we are mis-lynching today.

Anything else? We good? No? Your wish is my command here, don't worry.

Don't get cocky!

Well, at least the silence has been broken. I know there's only seven of us, but just sailing to a lynch is a little discomforting. I feel like if Desiree was scum, there would be more going on, or at least Desiree would be saying more than just fluff.

I'm not unvoting just yet, but I want to hear more from people.

Yup; Desiree at this point has pretty much given up on defending herself.

Still, as a fairly experienced player you ought to know that scum teams always keep the kill.

Well I know now. Does that help? I am unaware of any way I can defend myself against this - yea, so I don't know how the scum team works. I do now. What else more do you want me to say.

That still doesn't explain the infinite weirdness of your statement. You personally were afraid of being killed by the scum at night, and you thought they'd kill you... as revenge for Desiree or something? I really don't understand you here. This, and your odd comments about me being defensive yesterday (which you still haven't replied to) are what's pinging me most about you.

Aren't all of the town personally afraid of being killed at night by scum? If I could tell you what I had meant, I would. I'll try my best. I never meant that I, personally, would die, just that I might. See, back when I wrote it, I was under the impression that the scum kill didn't pass on. So, if we lynched her, I was assuming that, if she flips scum, and if she was the scum killer, then we would be safe from a night kill. However, now that it's apparent that the kill passes on, the statement isn't valid by any means. That's what I meant. Hopefully that clears a few things up.

Ah, come on, mate, I said folks. Not town. As in you and Derrick. I don't know you're town. I'd prefer to think that at least four others here are town. But I have no way of knowing that. All in all, I think you're reading a bit to much into a semi-sarcastic statement.

so ... you have not played (or hosted ) since then? You should know this; don't play innocent! You cannot tell us that you were unaware the kill gets passed on; liar.

Ouch. Name-calling hurts, man. I know what I know, and wouldn't I know even better if I were scum in the first place? In fact, why would I have even said it in the first place if I was scum? I don't play dumb scum. Or scum at all, really.

Really? its the same thing litterally every time!

Yes sir, I get it.

So yes, you were trying to get the cop to out themselves. You spoke of a town block earlier, just how do you figure this can happen?

I was trying to get the cop to out himself in the case that he discovered scum, for the benefit...(wait for it) of us here, the Town. In terms of town block, I have no clue on how we'd form one. That's why I presented the issue - to hopefully come up with a solution so we can stop the scum!

It is, it is too easy and by experience, when it's this easy and votes are pouring in without a cop result, it's usualy misplaced.

I'd really like to hear others' thoughts on this. I'm just not getting your point here, sorry.

1- You don't have an opinion and would rather sheep the vote than make up your own conclusions is what you're saying.

If you want an opinion, I'll give you one. It'll probably be familiar since others have already said it, but I'll give it to you. Give me some time for it, somewhat crunched for time here.

2 - How do you know this? Maybe scum can only kill every other night, maybe one of us is bulletproof, maybe .., maybe a lot of things actually. Your certainty regarding the kill does not look good on you.

Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. Maybe I should just stop assuming things. Or maybe tonight if one of us dies, maybe you'll agree with my assumption.

3 - Why are scum not at stake? You seem to know we are mis-lynching today.

I meant at night. When we're vulnerable and the scum aren't.

Don't get cocky!

 Come on, let me have my sarcasm.

Desiree played her best cards at the beginning of today. Now that she thinks she's done for, she's probably just given up trying. And her scumbuddies can't help her out on the scumboard cause our host clarified that the scum can only talk at night.

Aren't all of the town personally afraid of being killed at night by scum? If I could tell you what I had meant, I would. I'll try my best. Personally, no, I'm not afraid of being killed by scum. There, I said it and invited death  But seriously, although I'd be angry with the scum for cutting my game short, I wouldn't be afraid of being killed. I think that's what separates scum and town: townies aren't afraid of dying as long as town wins in the end; they have the capacity to take one for the team. Scum, on the other hand, are afraid of dying because it could scupper their slim chances at a win. I think you've taken your innate fear of the town lynching you and put it into a fear of being killed by scum because....I dunno, you're afraid of dying?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it's more of a stream-of-consciousness than a structured reply

I don't play dumb scum. Or scum at all, really.

That's just WIFOM. Moot point.

One thing: I don't suspect you because of you trying to get the cop to out if they found scum; I personally don't see any problem with that. Patti does for some reason though.

Common, you know this you chose to ignore it and try and plant that idea. There is no way you are/were not aware that the kill passes on.

Well then; much like your vote, try and come up with something, don't just say things you cannot elaborate on. So what's your idea on this?

I'd really like to hear others' thoughts on this. I'm just not getting your point here, sorry.

Again; you've seen this, been part of this don't play dumb.

ya, go consult and come back :moar:

Probably you'll kill me, maybe you won't, probably you're scum, maybe you're not!

Keep it coming; you're going to slip at some point!

The more you talk the less comittal you are; very telling!

One thing: I don't suspect you because of you trying to get the cop to out if they found scum; I personally don't see any problem with that. Patti does for some reason though.

No, no it's clear the cop should speak with a scum result; we made this clear yesterday. What irks me is that he felt the need to say it again, and again. And then to suggest we make a town block, how? there's no way we can organize and that (i think) was the intent of the host. My point is; there's no reason to discuss moot points or things that were already hashed out. It floods the thread with irrelevant discussion which is turns takes us away from scum hunting.

Hmm. Every time Trenton opens his mouth he looks scummiest and scummier. I can't really add anything to Patti's statements, except you co- hosted Blacktron and I was the scum killer. I specifically asked a question about the kill passing on in the Role PM thread; you have no excuse for not knowing.

Unvote: Lynn Benton (TrumpetKing)

Vote: Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw)

Dragonfire is right; I've played all my cards defending myself. I took Patti's advice and shut up.

I am baffled. What is worse than giving up like a n00b? Saying you've stopped talking because someone said you should.Town is not reactive and playing to the group, since they don't need to be. Scum? Dumb? Scum? Dumb?

I realized he was right. I kept trying to defend myself but I was only digging myself into a deeper hole.

Vote Tally

Desiree Walters (mediumsnowman) - 4 (Dragonfire, def, JackJonespaw, TrumpetKing)

Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw) - 2 (Piratedave84,mediumsnoman)

There are 7 players left , so a majority vote of 4 is required for a lynch.

There are 12 hours left to vote.

It looks like I won't be able to dodge this lynch by defending myself. I'll make things clear:

I am the TOWN TRACKER

I tracked Scubacarrot last night and he did nothing. I'll get killed tonight as we don't have a protective role, but at least you'll be able to get some information from lynching Lynn or Trenton. If you decide to lynch me anyways, you are going to look really stupid when I flip town tomorrow.

Unvote: Desiree Walters (mediumsnowman)

At least we have a bit of a chance lynching someone else, and besides, by outing you've forced the scum to kill you tonight and leave others alive; too bad you couldn't catch the scum first :cry_sad: The result on Theodore tells us nothing as he could be scum, but just didn't submit the kill last night.

Twelve hours to switch the lynch. Trenton's my second suspect so that's where my vote's going today.

Vote: Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw)

Anybody can counterclaim?

Posted

We'll know Desiree is fake if she survives to see tomorrow morning anyway - no chance the scum won't kill her if she's legit.

But yeah, I say we lynch her if there is a counterclaim (as unlikely as that may be). Unfortunately, I think she's legit.

I suppose they could leave me alive so town would waste a lynch tomorrow... That's approaching WIFOM territory. But then they run the risk of me tracking their killer. It's much more likely they'll just kill me tonight. :cry_sad:

Argh, it lost my post. What a shitstorm today. Sorry for my inactivity, since gamenames have apparently gone out the window a while back I'll just say that I was moving, not much time for mafia. Desiree will most probably die tonight. At least I'm pretty much cleared... Our job now is to scrutinise (note: responsible scrutinise) who went after desiree and especially who treated her as an easy lynch, because let's be honest here, easier than that one woman, am I right? I am an advocate for lynching whenever, wherever, so I am going to vote for Jackjonespaw, I am honestly not sure if he fits the profile I mentioned earlier. All assuming there's no counterclaim. It could still be a bid to bait out the actual tracker. But, since there's little reason you'd use the tracker instead of cop and considering whatt we have seen from Walters, that is improbable.

Well then. This went to shit. I mean, I'd prefer not to get lynched. But all I can say is that I'm town. Vanilla. Normal ol' fella over here.

Basically, since I have a feeling it won't do much good to defend myself at this point - after all, like Theodore says - he wants to lynch whenever, wherever. And as I'm top suspect, I suppose that means me.

So, when I flip town tomorrow, and I will flip town tomorrow, maybe things will change. Maybe not.

However, if Desiree is somehow alive tomorrow, after claiming her PR...hell, at least you've got a lynch candidate then. That or the scum are just fucking with you. I've no idea. Not sure what else to say here. I'm just a vanilla townie, so I have to PR to wiggle my way out of a vote. Uh...yea, so. Yea.

How are you almost cleared exactly?

Posted

He could still be scum, just didn't kill.

I know. Theodore said he was practically cleared; he isn't fully cleared though. I was clarifying the point as Patti asked about it.

Also, Trenton, any particular reason you are keeping your vote on me? Do you not believe my claim?

Rule 1 in Mafia - I don't trust anything.

Also it seems like I'm getting lynched today, so no real need to change my vote.
