How about a truck with a (un)loading deck/board on the back. Not sure how it is called in english.

A truck with a liftgate? That's what we call the trucks like that here. I don't think that's quite enough for a whole set, unless it were a small one.

How about a walking machine? Has anybody here attempted to model something like this?

Something for the future. But i wish they could make one with tires first because we have never had a real forest machine, i.e 8wd.

We had a 6 wheel one way back when. It would be nice to have one with wide tracked tires. Given some of the wet muddy places where trees are harvested, I wonder how the walker will perform.

I just came to think - I don't think TLG have ever made a proper drill rig, like this, with or without cab.

Having a huge interest in construction machines, I would like to see them make an attempt at this.

Also I wouldn't mind if they made a new version of the track links, the big ones, being like 3 studs wide or so, which could fit better for e.g. tracks for drill rigs.

I'm working on a MOC of one, having a long period of standing still on it though, and I feel that the big track links are too wide for that use. Seeing as drill rigs have narrower tracks, and maybe other machines as well, it would be an idea.

Generally nice ideas but nobody mentioned a Sprinter like transporter or Transit or T6 or the like. Also ive Seen only two mocs of this Kind in reliable or let say proper size. Best regards Henry

Thats not a real forest machine, just some weird looking log loader... i was thinking more something like this

I think that TLG does not release a model which is not easy and immediately recognizable... All these machines are interesting but for younger customers unknown and I think not so attractive as known wheel loaders, static or mobile cranes etc...

Klien K500 water bouser with Cat tractor unit.

Allows for other MOC builds using alternative articulated section such as dump body etc.

Plenty of body panels.

A simple dump truck with no arm, or attachments... maybe a 10x10 version? Would be a great source of panels.

I honestly don't think TLG can make any other dump truck that can surpass the Arocs.

I don't see many possible technical features with a van. Not anything that can't be built in a more appealing vehicle, for kids that is, or combined with more interesting features in a truck for example.

Designer Han has created a dump truck (not a 10x10 but a 10x4) that looks to me as a plausible Lego product. Complicated, yes, but not extreme like in some other MOCs. Besides, with just short of 2500 parts it uses less parts than the Arocs. I see a possibility to shorten it and remove one steered axle to further decrease parts count.

What about a pf mining excavator? like the Terex RH 400. :excited:

That would be awesome, and it wouldnt be so very complex and expensive either since one single motor can power a compressor which then powering some pneumatics, this would be a excellent choose of model to come with the new long pneumatic cylinders.

Would love to see a fully functional Technic windmill. Would also like to see some actually floating watercraft, perhaps something like a dredger or a sailboat.

This is crazy... :)

Who make this as first?

TLG or someone from us as MOC ??? :P

Max...

Ask 2LegoOrNot2Lego (Ingmar), he did one :tongue::wink:

I did build one similar to the second ons indeed! Still have plans for the triple though... Considering the complexity I think both will not become an official LEGO set soon...

Max...

I noticed what you wrote and and I couldn't resist replying to it...

Well I guess you have overseen this video because it is a bad video... :sceptic: Probably one of my most challenging builds with surely the worst video I ever made... Also did I took this build apart within two years, which I should not have...

Never the less I still know how to build it and probably will build anything similar to what you suggested!!!
