Kaanere Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 What about a large scale engine? Something where the actual valves and timing belt and such are simulated. They did something like that in the 70s, and I would totally like ti see it again Quote
Immo Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 They did a funny car, which I'd never expect. They need to do a lowrider now. Hydraulics, not linear actuators. Styled after Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo. Quote

Something large like Barman's V-8 would be much more educational though. It has accurate crankshaft geometry, accurate valve timing, fiber optic spark plug wires with accurate firing order, etc. Quote

arshiaIQ Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 A road roller... It should be a small scale model though Also road graders that TLG has already designed are not counted a real model for me, since road graders are complex vehicles, fron suspension till the bucket structure which offers a great freedom of movement Quote
Immo Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 They kind of did a funny car. I meant 42050, "Drag Racer" which, using a correct petrolhead terminology, is a funny car Quote
legolijntje Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I just came across this... interesting machine: I definitly haven't seen that one in Lego Technic Quote
NevynPA Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 We've actually never had a steam train locomotive. I think that'd be an interesting one to build; especially a 'Shay' type locomotive. I'm working on plans to MOC one, but it's slow going. The long square tubes at each end of the three vertical pistons are sliding joints that lengthen and shorten as the train goes around curves. A two or three truck shay with two or three cylinders and all the rods and stuff in place. Shay's were narrow gauge so it could work with standard lego tracks but I would prefer a slighly larger scale with enough custom made tracks (straight plus curve) to roll the locomotive and show off the engine and the articulation. Possibility to motorize (but not standard, to keep the price down) would be a nice plus. Quote
JJ2 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I wouldn't mind a snow blower set that would be cool. Quote

Brick-Nick Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) Well in Texas when it snows it sometimes really SNOWS like in 2010 I think it was like a foot of snow in a day. I guess it's a lot for Texas, here it would be pretty average condition! Talk about a foot in 2 hours then I listen ! The idea of a Snow blower is great ! Are you thinking about something like this or do you have anything else in mind ? Edited June 5, 2016 by Stash2Sixx Oversized picture, please stick to 800x600. Quote
