Posted November 5, 20159 yr Hi Guys, I've already submitted a post before my introduction (bad form I know), so just officially saying hi. I'm having a phase at the moment, of trying to buy some of my old sets again off ebay but without paying through the nose. My current collection is pretty minimal mostly due to how much Lego costs nowadays and having a child that selfishly wants Lego for himself! I'll be starting my modular collection this Xmas though (If I'm a good boy), and then re-mortgaging to get the Ghostbusters Fire House in the new year. PS If anyone has any tips, please let me know; my Lego collection as a child grew to astronomical amounts. Mostly thanks to being an only child. However, when puberty hit and chasing women was suddenly of more interest to me, my mother thought it appropriate to pass my entire collection on to my cousin, some 7 years my junior. I found out recently that he actually still has possession of the mountains of tubs passed down over 20 years ago. He's a grown man now, enjoying what young men do nowadays, so I asked if I could have the Lego back for my son (ish), so that the legacy could be passed on again. This request has been ignored, side stepped, avoided, missed call and pretty much everything in between for the past few months. has anyone else been in a similar situation? What would you do to get your collection back? Thanks Lee.
November 6, 20159 yr Welcome to EB! To answer your question, If you really want your Lego back, find a way to approach him in person and ask him then. If he's ignoring you because he wants to keep them, you should let it go, since he's owned them for years and might have gotten attached to them.
November 6, 20159 yr Welcome to Eurobricks, Jesting. About your question, I think you better to have a talk with him personally. But if him refuse to return your collection to you, don't be angry and rude because that won't make the condition to been ever better.
