Automatons terrorize the streets, the Ji Pei build whatever they imagine, irregardless of the possible dangers - We need to band together, and elect a leader who understands both the dangers, and the benefits of technology, and who is capable of acting accordingly."

He looked away, towards the center of Eubric. "And even more importantly, someone who is capable of stepping down, when the time comes. We've formed this Union to create a better city - not to create some new dynasty."

He turned back to Jinnipher. "You should really stop by. You're a very opinionated person - but you're also a person of very strong will. We could use more people like that in the Union."

The Black Knight nodded to everyone, handed out any gear he'd forgotten to return, took back any he'd lent and forgotten, and quietly set off into the cool crisp Eubric night air for the Hall.
