The Severas find their otherwise immaculate formation going up in smoke, as the party bombards them. Their armor pieces scatter, multicolored mist of the specters looming pitifully over them.

The pruple knight begins to reform first, staggering around as if drunk. It was a pointless gesture, as he had forgotten to pick up his weapon.

The sound of incoming footsteps is punctuated by the yell of an old man.

"ARE YOU FOOLS HARASSING SOME POOR FOLK AGAIN?!"

"M-master Flavius, we found these trespassers climbing up the-"

"You dolt! Normal folk climb up that wall up the time. It's called rock climbing, and some people like the sport. And they're not even on our property yet!"

"But, sir-"

"No buts! Pick up your borthers' junk and haul yourself off to the shed, and stay there."

The dejected, mighty Severa Purple began to pick up the armor remnants, while Flavius turns to the heroes.

"Sorry 'bout that. They get sassy after they don't get to hit something, the delinquents. Me sister in law made 'em before she left to travel, and the missus demanded that I keep 'em handy, the little bastards they are."

"You wouldn't be Flavius the Blacksmith, would you? And your wife, Marionne, the alchemist?"

"We sure are. Looking for our services? You must've trekked a fair way to get to our little cottage. I'll lead the way when you get all of your affairs straightneed out. Feel free to take the stuff those little blighters left behind - that's a good punishment for being so nasty."

"I would like to hear what he says first, Jinnipher. I don't think I'll really like the answer, but I'm not going to be that trigger happy making decisions.

You alright, otherwise? No breaks, sprains, things like that? That purple bastard had an arm on him. I'm more concerned about having everyone in one piece then whoever doles out the goods."

"Not really. She's an alchemist, I'm a blacksmith. Her sister lived with us for a bit, and she took the liberty of animating some of my old work. She put a bit of an ego in the damn things too, hmph.

Would you mind giving me a quick rundown on who I'll be dealing with here?"

"The black haired man with the scowl is Gabriel, our employer, he seems to have a fairly high opinion of himself, he's a sniper or something. Means he shoots things while running away or something. There's Jinnipher, who is like every other angry little elf, only she's armored and got sharp weapons. The boy with the wings is called Lind, don't pay attention to him and you'll be better off. Lastly there's Monk Pretzel, who seems like your regular moral high ground cleric. And, I am Calamity, nice to meet you."

Lind saluted a bit and stepped forward. "Jinnipher's an Elf knight, and well, you know how Elves are. Very...proud, some of them. Monk Pretzel's a monk - seems like a pretty decent chap all around, if a bit cranky occasionally. Gabriel's a nice chap, just don't tick him off, and Calamity's a Death Mage. I'll leave that at that.

And I'm Lind Whisperer." He offered his hand in greeting. "Munchkin Black Knight, although I've been compared to more of a tarnished paladin. Other's words, not mine. Pleased to meet you.

If it's all the same to you, I could have just not given Jinnipher the bomb and thrown it that round and then thrown another one this round, but thought it would be more fun to share the load...but whatever...I guess JimB is ultimately the one who is affected.

QM Note: It is definitely a unique situation. The first time, I had completely neglected the free hits of that round, and by the time I added them, the fact that I changed the battle order was out of my mind.

I'm afraid whoever forged those parts hardly forged 'em well. The finest materials in land, and that's the sword that comes out? Damn pity. I can help you enhance it, though. I'm not going to be able to really bring out that draconic might without the raw materials, but we can try to salvage it.

Mister Monk, you're the de facto leader here, right? Ready to go?

I cannot babysit everyone's moves and make sure they're doing exactly as I tell them. If I tell someone something, I expect them to follow the advice for the sake of the party, others seem to think otherwise. If you want to lead, then by all means do so. Let's see how you do with keeping stubborn headstrong fellows in line!"

I hand the Ectoplasm to Calamity and then turn to Jinnipher.

"If you want, then take your pick of the loot. You can even divide it however you feel is fair considering the loss you said. Trust me, there can be worse things that getting knocked out in battle. A friend of mine was knocked out and then when he recovered discovered that his party had someone sold his soul, along with theirs, to the devil while he was in an unconscious state. Bloody business!"
