December 7, 20159 yr Wow! Thats really impressive CJ! Red is good here. And love how you managed motors in the chassis. waiting for video.
December 12, 20159 yr Author Thanks everybody! Here´s a short video: nice maybe another vid in the snow Sorry but I have some better plans for the snow (8x8), this truck simply won´t be that great in the snow. Very nice, cool little model. I am wondering where the front bumper is though? I don't know if that was a design choice or it's just missing in the pictures? Seems a little empty below the grill to me. I could pretty easily have added it, but it would hurt the approach-angle a lot, so I decided to leave it off. Very cool! Compact, give us a rough part count please I´ll make an LDD file soon, but I have no idea til then.
December 13, 20159 yr Excellent video in an extremely nice environment of such a great model!!!
January 16, 20169 yr Author I've made a LDD file of the chassis: https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing It has about 400 pieces. Jeep CJ5 LDD by Pego's Legos, on Flickr Places marked with arrows (not the green one) should be replaced with this part: Instruction 1 by Pego's Legos, on Flickr The 3L axle should be replaced with this part (the SBrick should be connected to it): Instruction 2 by Pego's Legos, on Flickr
May 15, 20168 yr Author I have edited the first post with a new video and updated the LDD file, it is now including the bodywork (in the first post).
May 16, 20168 yr Very well designed model! Good work capturing the look of the CJ5 so well for a smaller technic model, and it looks like a capable crawler
