It bears repeating: The white version does look fantastic in LEGO. Maybe it will carry around Kylo Ren The White in Ep IX - accompanied by an owl named Hedw...oh, sorry.

Ironically, the wing retraction 'glove' design hasn't come to fruition, despite how great the mod looks on mordatre's MOCs. Turns out TLG actually got that part correct...kind of.

Unfortunately there were no white shuttle in the movie. But I hope it shows up in episode 8. I seems Lego was on the right track with how the top fins retract. I´ve made a small modification to how the fins look retracted but a complete rebuild isn´t necessary. The grey shuttle is now rubble and some of the parts went into modifying my first order transports.

Loving the black version of this ship. I'm trying to do one myself but struggling with the closing hatch on the main body. How did you alter that to still work but with black parts?
