December 8, 20159 yr Both ideally, but you can leave it out of the title if you run out of space. Ok, thanks.
December 16, 20159 yr Well, after my long time away, I'm back to AG, and can't wait to start building for this challenge!
December 16, 20159 yr Well, after my long time away, I'm back to AG, and can't wait to start building for this challenge! Welcome back! I'm only new to Kawashita but from what I understand we need as much support as possible. Edited December 16, 20159 yr by Isundir
December 19, 20159 yr Question: If, say, in this alternate universe, I chose Octan, then could I do a freebulid of my previous freebuild as if I joined Octan? Edited December 19, 20159 yr by LegoPercyJ
December 19, 20159 yr Question: If, say, in this alternate universe, I chose Octan, then could I do a freebulid of my previous freebuild as if I joined Octan? So you want to do a free build as if you joined Octan, and not use it as your competition entry? I can't see any reason why not.
December 19, 20159 yr I think he mean: ... could I do a challenge bulid of [one of] my previous freebuilds as if I joined Octan? Which is eqactly what category B is. Edited December 19, 20159 yr by EpsilonEta
December 19, 20159 yr So you want to do a free build as if you joined Octan, and not use it as your competition entry? I can't see any reason why not. I think he mean: Which is eqactly what category B is. No, do my build for the contest, and then make a build of my build as a new build that will count as points. December 19, 20159 yr No, do my build for the contest, and then make a build of my build as a new build that will count as points. You can make a new build of you joining kawashita and then make an octan version for the contest as long as you post both before the challenge deadline. I don't think you can make a challenge based on something you post after the deadline. Edited December 19, 20159 yr by EpsilonEta
December 19, 20159 yr No, do my build for the contest, and then make a build of my build as a new build that will count as points. Sorry if I've misunderstood again, but you want to make a new build (not based on a previous build) as your challenge entry and then remake it as a weekly build afterwards for points? No, you can't do that. The whole point of the competition is that you remake a previous build from another player (Cat A) or yourself (Cat B). And just to define some terms: a free build is a build that won't be judged or scored. A weekly build is a build that is judged and scores points.
December 19, 20159 yr I believe he was asking if he could do a weekly build as if he had joined Octan, seperate from the challenge builds.
December 19, 20159 yr I believe he was asking if he could do a weekly build as if he had joined Octan, seperate from the challenge builds. Ah, in that case, no. Weekly builds should stay in the main timeline. It's OK to do free builds in an alternate timeline if you want, though probably best to explain what's going on at the start of the post so no one gets confused.
December 20, 20159 yr Currently M.A.N.T.I.S. cloud computing calculating all possible time and space dimensions. Here are few cases to validate: Question 1. Octan player rebuild MANTIS build as CatA (resulting in Octan build). Can I rebuild his challenge build as my CatA? Question 2. Octan player rebuild his build as CatB (resulting in MANTIS build). Can I rebuild his challenge build as my CatA? Should it be Octan or MANTIS? Question 3. Can I use for CatB build that i made for CatA? Octan player build his prev build as MANTIS for CatB. For CatA I select that player. So if he is from another corp (MANTIS) he should make Octan build for CatA. So I made Octan build as my CatA. I rebuild my CatA build (Octan). So resulting is another corporation: Mantis. As a result I will have Octan build for CatA, and MANTIS build for CatB. PS: Kawashita is obviously out of question :p
December 20, 20159 yr Author Choosing a previous build: You can choose a build among all the weekly builds and Challenge 2 builds. Remember that the player index has links to every builds for all the players.
December 20, 20159 yr Ah, in that case, no. Weekly builds should stay in the main timeline. It's OK to do free builds in an alternate timeline if you want, though probably best to explain what's going on at the start of the post so no one gets confused. Thank you.
December 24, 20159 yr No job or tech bonuses will be awarded, so tagging is unnecessary. Equipment won't count either, so you can't get bonuses from that or use spy equipment to place your build. Are fleet bonuses in effect?
