Space Police XVIII Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I've been building speeder bikes around the basic trike body for a while, this is another one. I'm kind of proud of the front end. And this is a build instruction thing and a parts list. Perspective? no thanks. Proportions? NO WE WILL HAVE NONE OF THAT EITHER Quote
KlodsBrik Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 The speeder looks great, and i so loooove your instructions drawen freehand i assume. Looks excelent. Everything is done on computers these days. Being educated master cabinet maker. Technical drawing was one of the things we had to be able to practice, oldschool style with pen and paper. Drawings just have a totally different feel to it. Great work here indeed. Quote
Legocitycustoms Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Awesome, but personaly I would turn the wings down . Edited November 18, 2015 by Legocitycustoms Quote
anothergol Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 nice, it kinda has a dinosaur shape when landed funny I've built a speeder around that same blue bike as well a few months ago, but I used it inverted: Quote
-zenn Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Diggin' the flow of the front, but the square back needs some work though. Quote
MECHALEX Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Really nice work. I know what -zenn means about the square back but I like it as it lends the model the look of a more traditional Lego set - much as I like the trend for organic and studless - the squared-off rear reminds you this is Lego. And love the instructions too, both as function and as photo backdrop. Edited November 18, 2015 by MECHALEX Quote
-Noel- Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Snazzy! I love how you draw the instructions. Quote
Space Police XVIII Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Thanks guys. -zenn, I know what you mean, I have a few others with rounded off or tiled back ends..but I think I like the studded look, too. In Classic Space especially. anothergol - that is really cool, I never did come up with a way to use these trike bodies inverted, I'm going to have to copy that and experiment. The speeder looks great, and i so loooove your instructions drawen freehand i assume. Looks excelent. Everything is done on computers these days. Freehand, yes. I could've done a better job on a computer, smoothed things out, adjusted proportions and angles... but sometimes pen and paper just feel so much better. Anyway, thank you! Quote
