I'd like to give a more thorough reply...but unfortunately I can't. The picture is too dark. It appears as though your primary light source is coming from behind the figure, which is putting most of the front in shadow. Retaking the photo with the light source being from the front will improve the viewing experience, which I'd highly recommend if you are submitting this for a competition.

Hmm, I think it actually has to do more with my editing afterwards, but it doesn't really appear extra dark to me... but that could possibly be because I'm on a laptop and probably have the screen tilted back too much! Perhaps you might be looking at it from a lower angle? Thanks for the advice anyhow! :classic:

A really good looking 'fig! I love the use of that Ninjago armor.

Thanks GG, glad you like it!

I think it's probably a nice looking fig, but the lighting issue I mentioned earlier is still a concern. It may look good from the way you are viewing it, but you HAVE to be viewing it from an angle that isn't standard. For what it's worth, I'm a professional graphic designer, and I can tell you right now the lighting isn't doing it any favors. I can tell from where the light reflections are the light comes from the back...casting a shadow on the front. I've viewed it on 2 different screens, and the same issue applies on both. It's a neat fig, but you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't get a photo with better lighting. I've been in the display miniature hobby for 15-20 years, and bad lighting can totally screw over the judging of an otherwise nice figurine. It's a shame too, because it looks like it is probably a nice looking figure, but without a better picture, it would be hard to really judge it as such.

Hmm, the picture was actually taken in the shade of the house, so though there is light behind it, the main source (the sun) was in front... I did re-edit it (unfortunately it has already been destroyed, so I haven't been able to get any more pictures). Is this any better?

Thanks again for sharing your concern!

Thanks all!

Definitely better. A little photo editing can take a so-so picture a long way. I like the unusual use of the dark blue bricks reversed along the side of the base.

Thank you! :classic:

Great Minifig and a very nice presentation! Good Luck in the Contest!

Thanks FF, glad you like it!

Beautiful! I never thought those two armour pieces would go so well together, the rest of the vig completes very nicely

Thanks Exetrius! When I got that armor, I immediately decided I was going to need to use it for a knight sometime!

I agree the lighter pic is better, really cool fig and vig

Thanks Isundir!

The little landscape really adds alot-the blue colors are not something I generally associate with knights, but you do a great job here.
