Thanks for thie great review of another great series!

I quite like all those new figs, with some nice new accessories and of course, the new animal!

What I like in Minifigure series is that we have all universes (city, castle, space and so on) in one place.

When I was younger, it was hard for me to choose between a theme, so I tried to have some sets from each themes, with the more representative figures and specific parts. And those series are exactly in this way! So, ok, I don't have all the Castle sets and I'm not the bigger Castle fan and/or collector, but I'm quite happy to have my representation of this line in my collection.

Adding some diversity from each themes is for me always good!

I can't wait to put my hand on this series!

You're pictures are always good, even if the white pieces are not visible with the white background, but it's a really minor details.

Thanks to take the time to share this with us!

Awesome review, thanks! I am really looking forward to this series. I am a bit disappointed but not surprised that the animals will in shorter supply. That queen's dress is very very nice :-)

Indeed, I suspect is due to the cost of the mold for producing a full scale LEGO animal.

Your minifig review are always worth the wait

1.Do you mean they use so much plastic to produce them that they are expensive?

2.Or that the molds themselves cost so much to make in the first place?

1. could be the case..

2. should not matter..

My impression is that they usually make 5 of those figures kids are most crazy about, and 3 of those they expect the adults will hunt for

Then it is a good chance the kids will be happy and they know we adults will pay what it cost to get the figures we want

Great review again Whitefang, I look forward to your review almost as much as I look forward to the next minifigure series!

On the voting, however, I like the idea of having a mixture of a classic box, a themed box, and a licensed box of minifigures per year. What do others think?

Is the Queen's dress the same height as normal minifigure legs? Or is it taller, like the old slanted dress piece?

In my opinion, it looks too wide for non-regal figures, but the pegs are a huge improvement over studs, so I guess it'll be nice to have in the Lego parts library.

Excellent review!

I must say that after seeing them "in the flesh," I really like the Laser Mech a lot more. That armor looks slick all silvered up!

I wish the golds on the Flying Warrior matched, but I still like him as well.

Lots of nice surprises such as the double-sided faces on the Animal Control and Shark Suit Guy, and the back and arm prints on other figures.

Speaking of which, I'm surprised to see Shark Suit Guy so common, but I guess it'll make him more accessible to costume collectors.

There is a photo in the review with the Queen in between the Princess and the King. The Queen is the same height as the King, not the Princess.

Great review.

The wings from the mech actually first appeared two years (maybe three) ago in orange in one of the Galaxy Squad sets (and will soon be released in green and trans-green in the Nexo Knights. I have also heard the net piece is from a few years back from either the Scala or Belville line.

I think the Jewel Thief will go nicely with the Brick Bank.

I'm really looking forward to this series.

another fine review, whitefang. :D love clumsy guy, hes just adorable.

im curious to see a sideview of the queen without the cape. would like to see how much the back sticks out. couldnt quite tell if the leg studs are centred or more to the front.

Great review. Every piece & detail I've seen is simply amazing. I can't decide which is my favorite now, they are all simply :wub_drool:

Oh, and White Fang, when you posted a picture of Animal Control Lady with so many others that resemble her and said "Don't they all look alike?" LMAO they sure do, it's like she has multiple personalities.:laugh:

When Series 13 came out, a lot of us were wondering why the Classic King's cape was made this way

And now we know: They already had planned to use the same cape with the huge new dress for the Queen
