Thank you WhiteFang for the very thorough review!

The Queen and the new knight are amazing and going straight into my kingdom. I agree the Queen seems intended to go with the Classic King; I wonder if we'll get a Classic Knight in the future too? After all, the Classic King's bio says he has "fourteen knights".

Hmm, that would be cool. But it might take a while for Lego to release 14 CMF knights unless they did a whole series of them, which ain't happenin'. Still, one good matching knight would certainly be nice.

I don't know if the S12 princess is meant to be the daughter of the S13 king and this series' queen. The princess came with a toad, so maybe we'll get a princely knight in a future series, i.e. not one of the king's 14 knights but the prince of another kingdom.

Great review, as usual, WhiteFang! Thanks for continually taking the time to review these in such detail, and with such a fun attitude.

There are several minifigures here that I plan to get, and that's exciting. For me, this is the best series since 12 and 13, which were both wonderful in what they offered.

I'm disappointed the shark guy isn't more rare. He will be the first suit guy to be not as valuable as the rest.

I'm quite happy that he is abundant, as I buy these figures because I like them, not because they can be sold later at a markup.

While it's been said before that there were 14 knights in the original Castle set, there has also already been a knight in the CMF series.

Just use 14 Heroic Knights and you'll be set!

I also don't think that S12 Princess is meant to go with S13 King and S15 Queen. The color scheme for her is way different. A princely knight would go great with her.

It seems the Queen is the highlighted minifigure this time, like the Hot Dog Man in Series 13

The Frog is included with Fairytale Princess from Series 12.

It is her job, to to kiss the frog (or in some other versions: throw it to the wall), and transform it to Prince Charming.

So, Prince Charming and the frog can´t appear together, because he IS the frog. :wink:

Uh, there are more frogs in the world than princes. The prince can hold a frog too. Maybe he likes frogs.

If we´re talking about normal frogs in a normal world, you´re right.

But in a fairy tale world you can´t throw a dead cat without hitting one or two princes. :wink:

The big question is, why should Prince Charming carry a real life frog?

Maybe he likes frogs

I think the best solution would be to design his outfit with a frog motif, thus the green color, and maybe a frog insignia on his belt or something. To have him carry the frog would cause an existential problem.

Nah, simple solution : have a prince charming and a 'frog suit guy' in the same series ;)

Not if he found a spell to travel through time as a frog to warn himself not to get turned into a frog in the first place.

Of course, upon arriving to his past self, he'd realize how ludicrous it would sound, and decides against it, thereby preventing his own potential paradox.

But little beknownst to him, but beknownst to us, by traveling to his own past he has already started a ripple in his own timeline. Frog prince becomes the first collectible minifig to exist in quantum flux, and the world is forever changed.
