Has anyone tried to modify set 10240 to match the colors of Poe's X Wing, so in Black and Orange?

I was wondering if all parts of 10240 are available in either black or orange.

Is there any difference in design between the old white X Wing and the new one?

There is actually quite a huge difference between the old X Wings (and the TIE fighters) and the new ones - they have sort of the same lines, but that's sort of where it ends. With the X Wings, the first major difference you can see are the semi-circular intakes rather than the old circular ones. It will take a bit of a redesign to get the UCS X Wing to look like the Ep VII version, not just a quick colour scheme change, I'm afraid. The link posted above gives you a good idea of the mods you'll probably need to do.

Well, my mod is pretty much an all black version of the 10240. Just the wings have been changed.
