Aanchir Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Oh, I have a whole bunch! My brother and I even have an entire "LEGO shelf" in our room, and some of them have spilled onto other shelves because they don't fit on the first one! Scholastic readers Rocket Rescue, Mission to the Arctic, Bionicle: Journey of Takanuva, Bionicle: The Secret of Certavus, and Bionicle: Desert of Danger. The first two I got when I was still a kid, the rest I got because they had original stories and hand-drawn illustrations (most LEGO Scholastic readers these days use stock graphics or video stills). Bionicle Encyclopedia (the original edition with the blue banner on the cover, not the updated edition with the red banner) The guide books The Official Guide to Bionicle, Bionicle: Rahi Beasts, Bionicle: Dark Hunters, and Bionicle: World The graphic novel Bionicle #8: Legends of Bara Magna All 28 Bionicle G1 chapter books LEGO Bionicle: Island of Lost Masks (the first Bionicle G2 chapter book) All five LEGO Hero Factory chapter books LEGO Hero Factory: Face Off: Makuro's Secret Guidebook LEGO Elves: Quest for the Keys Five LEGO Legends of Chima storybooks Twelve LEGO Ninjago graphic novels Five LEGO Ninjago chapter books (the ones that tell original stories rather than TV adaptations) LEGO Ninjago: Official Guide LEGO Ninjago Character Encyclopedia LEGO Ninjago: The Visual Dictionary LEGO Ninjago: Secret World of the Ninja Beautiful LEGO and Beautiful LEGO 2: Dark Brick by Brick: How LEGO Rewrote the Rules of Innovation and Conquered the Global Toy Industry (an excellent book that I'd recommend to any AFOL) LEGO: A Love Story The LEGO Movie: The Essential Guide LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia The Ultimate LEGO Book ...and besides those 80, there are probably still more I'm forgetting to mention! Peppermint_M Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 While my LEGO Book collection may not be quite so vast (My library is vast mark you) I have a number of books. Standing Small The LEGO Book The LEGO Book (Revised and expanded) Minifgures Year by Year The Batman Character Encyclopaedia The CMF Character Encyclopaedia LEGO The Classic Play Themes Great Lego Sets. Brick City Brick Wonders Yep, only ten. I did have one of the idea books, but I thought that it would have a better home with some little LEGO fans I know. Of course, if I had more room for all my books, then I would have more LEGO books. As is, they have to share space with a healthy art-book collection, graphic novels, manga, a decent amount of history books, a geology reference section, a collection of varied fiction paperbacks and hardbacks and a miscellany of mythological retellings and guides... (I have already collapsed one bookshelf...). There are probably more I will find as time passes, I am always coming across new ones to get and the Architecture on keeps catching my eye. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Oh I've lost track of which Bionicle books I bought as a kid... I do have the DK Lego book from the late 90's and the DK Lego Harry Potter book. Quote
Hartfan Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 That's my Lego book collection. Some of DK books I have in English but also in Polish. Best one in collection: Collectors guide 1st Edition (Limited to 3333 copies edition with minifigure and brick) Quote
Legogal Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Wow! Way to go! Those are some serious LEGO book collections. What wonderful sources of LEGO info. I have quite a few of those books as well. Have really enjoyed Tom Alphin's new "The Lego Architect" because it has some detailed explanations about architectural styles demonstrated with different micro builds. Architecture is fascinating anyway; adding LEGO to the mix makes it even more interesting. A big thanks to all the publishers who have moved into LEGO books in a big way. Quote
Robert8 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Impressive collections.... I only have the CMF Character Encyclopedia By the way, does anyone know why the "I Love That Minifigure!" book isn't listed on LEGO shop? http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Books-ByCategory Quote
Hobbun Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I only have: Star Wars Visual Dictionary Star Wars Character Encyclopedia Both books are the most recent versions. But then I just got back into LEGOs again, recently. Quote
Brickface Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Just the updated Star Wars charcter encylopedia. I was lured in by the white Boba Fett but wasn't sure what I was expecting from the book itself. I found it a bit basic and the weighting of new trilogy/rebels to original trilogy was disappointing. I like the look of "small scenes from a large galaxy" though. Quote

Thanks for the support @Legogal. The LEGO Architect book is doing great this year, hovering around 500th place for all books sold on Amazon! Word of mouth recognition for the book really helps! ---tom Edited December 16, 2015 by henrysunset Quote
