Garmadon Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 "Good news!!" "The King has reviewed your case, and he's cutting your sentence in half!" From a joke in an Algebra book I went through several years ago, and haven't forgot about! Built for the Medieval Dungeons category of CCCXIII. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) I'm not a fan of empty studs usually (in Castle, that is), but I like the rest of the stonework and the floor. Very nice work here! Edited December 1, 2015 by Graham Gidman Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I really like the walls and floor! Nice job! Quote

Fletcher Floyd Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Great Work and funny (cruel) story:-D The Door is really cool! Quote
Captain Dee Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Funny! The dungeon looks, well, about as nice as a dungeon can look. I especially like the door and tiled floor. And those shears/cutters look wicked, besides making good use of those big swords. Nice work. Quote
Garmadon Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Great Work and funny (cruel) story:-D The Door is really cool! Thanks FF, glad you like it! Funny! The dungeon looks, well, about as nice as a dungeon can look. I especially like the door and tiled floor. And those shears/cutters look wicked, besides making good use of those big swords. Nice work. Thanks Captain Dee! I had to try a couple of times to get them to look just right, but I was quite happy with how the things turned out! Quote
Spader Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I love the floor, and the wall looks good, even though I'm with Graham on this one. Also, the door design is really cool. That said, excellent work, and keep it up! Quote
BrickCurve Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Great wall design, the floor fits in surprisingly well. Quote
Garmadon Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Nice floor and wall technique! Thanks TitusV! I love the floor, and the wall looks good, even though I'm with Graham on this one. Also, the door design is really cool. That said, excellent work, and keep it up! Thanks Andrew! Seems like at least the door was quite popular! Great wall design, the floor fits in surprisingly well. Thank you! It did look a bit wrong when it was all straight and newly polished, but a bit of misplacing and breaking tiles worked quite well! Thanks! Quote

Want to see more about floor construction. Thanks Keter! I believe it was created by mpoh98 with this build, at least that's the first place I saw it It's built with a stud in the middle of each 2x2 tile (I've been looking for a tutorial on it to share but can't seem to find one!) Thanks again! Quote
