LittleJohn Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Excellent build! I love the backdrop and the dirt being flung by the horse is a great touch Quote
Captain Dee Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 The posability of the new style horses is perfect for these things and the background looks good. It has a really good sense of motion overall. Nice work. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Very pretty FP, the mountains provide a nice backdrop with the sky Good pose for the horse too Quote
mrcp6d Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Great way to spice up a Phase I entry! Nice work Quote
BrickCurve Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Great forced perspective, the dirt being flung up by the horse is a great touch as well. Some clouds in the sky would be a good addition though. Quote
TitusV Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 The perspective and minifig posing are great! Nice way to build a phase I MOC! Quote
Garmadon Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Excellent forced perspective and sense of motion with this Puvel, and the landscaping is superb as well! The blue studded plate for the sky works better than I would have expected, I'll have to remember that! Fantastic work! Quote
Puvel Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 Thanks! Was fun the play around with the camera and lights for this one, glad to see you like it as well! Have to give credit to Bregir for the flying dirt. Saw that in one of his saga builds, not sure I would have thought of adding it otherwise. The blue background was a last minute addition, had my white sheet as background at first. The combination of a white snowscape, white horse and a white sky just didn’t look right. Luckily I had a blue plate lying around, it’s one of the few blue things I have :D Quote
Spader Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I love the way you did the FP here, it really turned out well. Quote
