Rockbrick Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) only one I can think of is this one but its maybe smaller and lighter than you need - oh and no axle hole so a friction pin you would have to use (or clamp it tight) Edited December 16, 2015 by Rockbrick Quote
Boulderer Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) There is a rarer part ... 2740c01, which is 7 stud dia, and from 8855. Mind you, I don't have one of these so, I can't really comment on whether it would be suitable. Edit: I think it may be bigger than I thought, having taken a look on BL, sorry. The 2740 part is brilliant but way too big for my TC9. The diameter looks about 16 or 17 studs, I must get a couple for future MOCs. Quote
Thirdwigg Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Can you fit 30332, and still fit within your dimensions? I think what you have is a little too small. Quote
JamesJT Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 30332 is another cool part I've not seen before. It is too big unless I can lower the ratchet by 2 studs and I can't see a way to do that in a model this small. Quote
MacKaiwer Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I've built two velocity type planes and they both have much larger propellers... That propeller looks way too small... Work it out because the A model is my favourite, I trust you Okay, my mistake, velocity planes don't have "radar" so your type of plane could have smaller propeller... Maybe just one step bigger propeller and it is like spot on... Everything is so cool at this point, if you could you should That part 30332 is just perfect but if it does not fit I think this current propeller do its' job quite well. You could do something with tiles (below), but use 1x3 tiles for the blades. Quote
JamesJT Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 I finished the A model... ...then I built a copy... ...then I took one apart to see what I have to work with. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I finished the A model... It is absolutely a great A model and I am so curious what the B model will look like... Quote
JamesJT Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 Everything I want to build for the B has something important missing. A turntable and string would have been nice. Quote
Kumbbl Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) So just add a turntable or a string to the A! ;-) E.g. A whinch with a string for the SUV?! BTW: incredible cute A model Edited December 19, 2015 by Kumbbl Quote
Appie Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) Give the SUV a winch? For the turntable... this trailer doesn't really give a good excuse to use it as a connection point to the car, so design a new propeller around it? edit: basically what the guy above said lol Edited December 19, 2015 by Appie Quote

JamesJT Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 The trailer could use a winch for sure, not sure about slipping a turntable in though. Ideas for B model... Quote
Omikron Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 B model - ambulance. You can use small wheels for a stretcher or a wheelchair Quote
JamesJT Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 I started building an ambulance but it turned in Ecto1 and then a Cadillac convertable. It has also been a fire engine and a trophy truck today. Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Great work on the car and plane Now the B model Quote
JamesJT Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 Trial truck with 4 wheels steering, pendular suspension using flexi axels as leaf springs. Quote

Thirdwigg Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 A helicopter would be great, but the dimensions might be a challenge. I love the SUV. Quote
Omikron Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) That one is so AWESOME! Edited December 21, 2015 by Omikron Quote
