JamesJT Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 ^That helicopter was about 30000cs and I couldn't make a good rotor blade. I tried a vertical take off plane but it is already 13000cs so the search continues. Quote
Thirdwigg Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 What about a truck, boat, and trailer? It might match the three "part groups" you already have. Quote
Technic Jim Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 What about a truck, boat, and trailer? It might match the three "part groups" you already have. It sounds quite similar to the A-Model so isn't as exciting as an official set. However, TLG seem to sometimes make B-Models pretty much, almost, exactly the same as the A-Models in some circumstances, eg 42037, the formula off roader Quote
JamesJT Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 I think I have found the B model; Airport fire truck with HOG steering and directional hoses. It is quite small at 13x15x33 so I will try to make it larger if I have enough parts left. Quote
Sylvian Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I started building an ambulance but it turned in Ecto1 and then a Cadillac convertable. It has also been a fire engine and a trophy truck today. Haha, you are amazing. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Didn't see that one coming... Nice... ...not as strong as you A model IMHO... Quote
JamesJT Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 I have made some progress with the fire truck. It is still a WIP and I still have 40% of the A model parts unused. The hoses point in the same direction when the boom is raised. They move together using a lever on the roof. Quote
lcvisser Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Very nice and completely different from the A-model. Quote
JamesJT Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 I used most of my A-model parts now so I think it is nearly done. Quote
Kumbbl Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 really great B-model from this parts assortment Alltogether it would be worth to be released as small TLG-set. Congrats  Quote
MacKaiwer Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Airport crash tender looks awesome Nice functions and details, I think it's even better than your A model, very well done! Quote
lcvisser Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 The movie is hilarious But I agree with others: I think the B-model is even better than the A-model Quote
Sylvian Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 The movie is hilarious But I agree with others: I think the B-model is even better than the A-model This,.. at first i thought,.. meh,.. but than,.. wow! Quote
Immo Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Worthy of being released as an official set. There is only one "problem" I see: People would have to buy two sets like that to have a complete "Sports Airfield Vehicles" suit. Awesome work! Quote
JamesJT Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) This has probably taken longer than the MOC. The movie is hilarious Great, I thought I'd gone too far when the first person to view the youtube clip "disliked" it. Edited January 26, 2016 by JamesJT Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Nice Job on your entry. Both A and B are both very well thought out and designed. You may be in with a chance of getting three bronze medals. Quote
JamesJT Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 All done and ready to enter A model is 67x11x13 = 9581cs B model is 37x15x16 = 8880cs Quote
