"Thank you..." Kheyli attempts to open the window.

"A guest? I didn't invite a guest. Oh, you mean, you? I didn't invite you either though. You just came yourself, and it's probably best that you leave. Do you know my parents then?"

"Oh, 'tis such a droll, chilly night and it warms my old heart to converse with such a spirited youth", Quintessa yammered on, trying to stall the girl. "Who is the other person you were talking to, then? Why isn't she coming to the door?"

Emilie gives a weary smile.

"She's supposed to be sleeping."

The window opens gently under Kheyli's push. It did appear large enough for her to slip through.

Keliim stays alert to what goes on inside the house but hidden.

The girl becomes somewhat defensive.

"It isn't as if I owed it to you to tell you. You don't appear to know the family here."

"Mind your manners, young Miss. If you do not even live here, then it is unpolite to not let a visitor know that!" Quintessa sincerely hoped her quest mates had sprung into action while she kept the girl busy. Otherwise she was just wasting time.

[Palathadric]

"Now you're just being mean!"

[Sandy]

Quintessa stood up to her full height, donning her full regal aura and sixty years worth of authority. "You, young Miss, have not the slightest inkling how to address your elders. Your parents should give you a proper whipping!"

[Palathadric]

The girls looks up at Quintessa's towering figures ( ).

"I'm so sorry, ma'am. I didn't mean any harm."

Kheyli enters the living/dining room. Where she's standing she can just barely make out the form of Emilie's back facing away from the only noticeable exit in the room.

Kheyli looks around for the statue

Kheyli does not see the statue in the room. However, she's presently on the dining room table, in front of her is the sofa facing the fireplace and to the right is a counter with cupboards underneath.

Kheyli checks the cupboards

Kheyli finds no Statuette from a brief survey, if, however, she is willing to dig in a bit and move some of the items in the cupboards out of the way, she might find it or other useful articles.

Kheyli looks for any other rooms in the house

The only door out of the living/dining room, passes directly behind where Emilie is, does Kheyli want to risk sneaking within a couple of paces of the girl?

Kheyli searches through the cupboard, slowly, in an effort to make as little noise as possible.

As Kheyli is busy searching the place and Quinntessa is keeping the girl busy with her strange questions, Keliim turns his head slightly to see if Cheapy is still around and if he is Keliim whispers to Cheapy, "Ye been awully quiet nowst habt ye, what ye thinkst o' all th's...?"

Sauce Pan (Tool; Can be used with a Potion, outside of battle, once per quest to restore full HP)

As Kheyli is busy searching the place and Quinntessa is keeping the girl busy with her strange questions, Keliim turns his head slightly to see if Cheapy is still around and if he is Keliim whispers to Cheapy, "Ye been awully quiet nowst habt ye, what ye thinkst o' all th's...?"

"It may sound cruel, but Kheyli is already in the house. If she gets caught I can't see a scuffle not starting out. In my opinion, our best bet is to knock down the girl, then considering that the other voice has only come from one of the father rooms, we may at least explore these ones to our hearts content. If we just drug her or knock her out, we should get by fine. We don't need to kill her or anything! Otherwise, I suppose I could probably go in and look for the statuette, but I doubt there is any way I can recover it myself."
