xwingyoda Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 Well you try it out Master Yoda and let me know what its like... I'll tell you if I'm lost on a deserted island with nothing else to eat for survival ;)
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 23, 2005 Governor Posted April 23, 2005 Or marooned upon a desert island perhaps...
xwingyoda Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 Or marooned upon a desert island perhaps... Maybe, who knows what the future holds ;)
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 23, 2005 Governor Posted April 23, 2005 Psychics and clairevoyants apparently.... And god too...
xwingyoda Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 And the history continues for our pleasure ;) Now she waives extradictment to face trial in California, yipyyyyy http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/26/Wendys.f...r.ap/index.html
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 27, 2005 Governor Posted April 27, 2005 It appears this woman is a bit of a trouble maker and a gold digger trying to make money by suing others...
xwingyoda Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 I should live in Ohio ;) "Wendy's, based at Dublin, Ohio, is offering $100,000 for information leading to the origin of the finger." I would lead a great investigation and tada, a brand new Mustang and a couple of Lego sets :-D ;)
xwingyoda Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 But why a mustang? Had one, miss it ;) At least I'm not missing a finger :-D ;)
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 29, 2005 Governor Posted April 29, 2005 A mustang as in the car or the furry little critter? Fortunately Wendys only serves Hot Dogs and Ice Creams where I am so I'm not going to have such problems with chili.
xwingyoda Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 A mustag as in the car or the furry little critter?Fortunately Wendys only serves Hot Dogs and Ice Creams where I am so I'm not going to have such problems with chili. one small thing - bad typo Mustang We don't have Wendys in France anyway :|
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 29, 2005 Governor Posted April 29, 2005 What typo? Maybe the Wendys here is different to the one in the US. I hear many bad things concerning food coming from the US at times...
xwingyoda Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 What typo? Maybe the Wendys here is different to the one in the US. I hear many bad things concerning food coming from the US at times... Lol Funny (good edit there ;) ) Lets not generalise on US food quality - I agree fast food IS crap whatever country they come from :'( Crap not in term of hygiene which is really strict. I still want to know where the finger came from though :-D
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 29, 2005 Governor Posted April 29, 2005 Food is very good quality here. Too bad all the premium stuff get exported, so enjoy the sea food Japense dudes! And the cows... Wherever they go... Maybe Wendy's was trying to introduce a new item on their menu... Chili Fingers... But maybe they took the wrong approach...
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 30, 2005 Governor Posted April 30, 2005 Judging by that response it might not be too popular...
xwingyoda Posted May 3, 2005 Author Posted May 3, 2005 Arghhhhhhhh, here is another finger finding story :'( Is it becoming a trend?????? this time "A man who ordered a pint of frozen chocolate custard in a dessert shop got a nasty surprise inside -- a piece of severed finger lost by an employee in an accident." check it here: http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/02/custard.f...r.ap/index.html Bottom line, wartch out and be carefull in what you bite :-D
eDeevo Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 It's interesting how the finger was said to have been "lost by an employee in an accident."... I don't think I would lose track of a severed appendage if that happened to me... Also, read this from the article... "...several employees tried to help the injured worker, and that a drive-thru window attendant apparently scooped custard from the bucket into a pint before being told what had happened."... ...don't you think everyone working anywhere around this person would have heard the screams of pain coming from the fingerless employee? Strange indeed... oh yes, and sickening too... Life is Good... unless you eat custard, then its kind of in disarray as of late...
xwingyoda Posted May 3, 2005 Author Posted May 3, 2005 At least with this last article we know where the finger is coming from compared to the story of this thread ;) How can people loose fingers and this just past totally unoticed (I mean the destination of the severed finger). Eat out chili and custard and you have the winning combo :-D
xwingyoda Posted May 6, 2005 Author Posted May 6, 2005 Breaking news, he he in the world of severed fingers :-D The guy who found the finger in the frozen custard refuses to give it back to his owner *wacko* No kidding: "The general manager attempted to retrieve it and rush it to the hospital," reads a statement posted Thursday on Kohl's Web site. "Unfortunately, the customer refused to give it to her and declared that he would be calling the TV stations and an attorney as he exited the store." This in unbelievable!!!!! really :D check the article here: http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/06/finger.fi...t.ap/index.html Enjoy!!!
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 6, 2005 Governor Posted May 6, 2005 So now its becoming fashionable to seek media attention from finding severed fingers in food...
eDeevo Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 People in this country are just sue-happy... I am sometimes ashamed to be associated with them :/ Life is Good.

Ed, If this goes to court, no jury would award damages to someone that deliberatly prevented someone else to "keep" his finger ;) Sometimes the system really works ;)
