Current Votes:

3 Votes for Delwyn Couch: (mediumsnowman, Tariq J, CallMePie)

2 Votes for Molly Tolbert: (Tamomono, def)

1 Vote for Doctor Wynn: (Tachyon)

1 Vote for Ray Christiansen: (Bob)

4 Votes for Perce Triggs: (TinyPiesRUs, KingoftheZempk, jluck, Lady K)

2 Votes for Mike Johnson: (Dragonfire, fhomess)

2 Votes for Quincy Easton: (Ranger of the Forest, Cutcobra)

WIth 17 players, it'll take a majority of 9 votes to complete a lynch.

You have a little more than 3 hours to reach a consensus.

Really our top two choices right now are Dewlyn and Perce. At least Dewlyn has been active and participating so I think we should switch to Perce. He never really addressed my concern of his anti-townie post to Anthony either and he has been practically non-existant.

And Duke did address my concerns on him so for now:

Unvote: Duke Bowman(cutcobra)

Vote: Perce Triggs (Tachyon)

I'm finding myself agreeing with this. It's the first legit bandwagon and of people don't get on we're doing to wind up with a no-lynch.

I'd urge everyone to vote for Molly. We need a lynch, obviously, and she's the best candidate.

While I still find Anthony's behavior suspect, I feel Dake Bowman would be a better choice for today. He has made six post of which the first three fluff are understandable for day 1 prior to voting opening. His last three however feel very much as he is trying to hide under the radar without committing.

For the record, scum always jump on lurkers...

All you're doing is just going "I don't like this" "he's scum" etc etc, without analysing, asking questions, whatever. I can't respond to "he's probably scum". If you want to find scum, start questioning people! Or say why you think it "smells bad"....

I'm not big on the questioning people game. Just confuses things. I understand it's frustrating to be FoS'd for no reason. Don't worry. I still kinda think you're scum.

You're all over the board. The Perce vote is really clearly not a good lynch today; you're trying to just get the wagon off yourself.

So you would prefer a no-lynch by keeping the town split? Two votes doesn't equal a bandwagon.

I think we should lynch you. It's still possible.

If this is how you feel then give some good valid reasons, you are entitled to your opinion.

I've been giving them. I don't think your voting record is genuine, and you keep flip-flopping and not voting people you think are scum and vice versa.

Am I meant to feel reassured? Humphrey certainly doesn't...

Unvote: Delwyn Couch (Ranger of the Forest)

Vote: Perce Triggs (Tachyon)

Great, now two of my three top scumreads are voting the third...

Okay. Molly approached me in private a while ago, asking me who we should lynch and asking me to lead the town, when she's said she suspects me in-thread. I said that she, Perce and Mike are my top suspects. She immediately zeroed in on Perce and Delwyn for the lynch, and I replied that I townread Delwyn and I'd be OK with lynching Perce. She agreed with both and then said she townreads me, followed by her voting Perce in-thread. It's obvious that she's trying to get me on her side, pretending to concur with my opinions and flipping her "read" of me on its head in order to save herself from a lynch. We need a lynch, and I know who I want lynched.

Unvote: Mike Johnson (mediumsnowman)

Vote: Molly Tolbert (Lady K)

Ok, here is your vote on me and your reason that 'it doesn't feel right'.

Vote: Molly (Lady K)

Pinged me before, and seems off. The vote for Anthony doesn't feel right - no read on him for now, and I've never played with him before, but Molly's vote feels disingenuous.

I would like to point out that you have indeed played with Anthony (four games now and hosted him twice) before. Yet you say you have no read on him because you have never played with him before. And you felt my vote was disingenuous?

I did indeed approach you in private, but I never asked you to lead the town. I said you have lead the town before and I was merely seeking your opinion because we need a lynch today. Please do not twist what I said. I am town and want what is best for town.

Here's the PM. Both Humphrey and I feel that it strongly implies that you wanted me to lead the town. Read the words in bold and red.

Hi,

I just noticed you are online. We have just a few hours left of the day and voting is spread out still. I know you have lead the town before and right now it doesn't seem anyone is following anyone.

How do you feel about a no-lynch situation? I have always been of the mind set of a lynch (even a bad one) gives us more data to work with the following days. We have four single votes, three double votes and one triple vote with four players not having voted at all.

What are your thoughts? Right now I doubt we will get a Mike or Duke lynch so who should we switch to?

*edit: bold and brown.

Anthony and Dink, I see you reading the thread. Care to cast your votes, or would you rather have a no-lynch today?

*edit: I see you've both voted for Perce. Sorry,

I've already voted for my strongest read and don't want to change my vote unless a split is imminent. I will monitor the progression for that purpose. How are we on time?

Also, I'm mildly concerned with your pm quote, is that allowed?

It plainly shows that I was merely enquiring about your opinion. As for a no-lynch it would appear that is what you are attempting by not voting for the person with the most votes and with so little time left in the day.

"Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game."

So...sure, I'll let it slide. Could make things more interesting.

You've got about 2 hours left.

Nothing in the rules against it

Look, even if I voted for Perce we'd be four votes off a lynch....my vote won't change things much unless more people get online.

Are you therefore allowing PMs to be quoted?

Actually your vote would count as six, leaving us just three off. And hopefully more will show up in the next hour so we could have the required nine votes.

There's something desperate in that sort of research day one.

The people who are the single vote on people need to choose a side: vote for Delwyn (3), Molly (3) or Pierce (4). Any other vote will be considered a non-vote. As it is, we'll be lucky if anyone can get nine for the lynch.

It's not desperate, but he out and out lied and has made it his mission to lynch me, why I have no idea. We need a lynch today and it seems that three of you are pushing for a no-lynch.

If we vote as Elijah wishes us to we will have a three way split. He is asking only those with a single vote or no vote to vote. That won't equal to the required nine on any of the top three choices (yes that includes me) unless some switch their votes. Right now Perce is the top choice with 5 votes.

I can't remember half the people playing, And I've hosted and played with most of them I think. Until you get into heavy PM business with people, it's easy to not know them. He might have lied, but for me, I could see myself saying it by mistake. And for him, it would be a stupid lie to make, since it could easily be researched, as you have to find a shred of something to hang a case on.

As for the no-lynch, that's ridiculous. There are three valid candidates at this point, and you're one of them. Because you were the fourth on Pierce, that's the valid bandwagon? You are having a horrible day one:

-You support a lynch on someone that seems likely town,

-switch to the bandwagon when your name pops up,

-desperately flail to defend yourself

-send PMs to someone that your not in the habit of sending PMs to (to the best of my knowledge, I don't recall you having a working relationship)

-claim that votes on you are for a no-lynch, when actually, you are tied for second in the voting.

Nope, a bad day one for you.

Actually it is a good day one for me because I am not hiding in the shadows and just following along. I feel very strongly that Perce is our best bet for today, yes day 1 lynches have ended in a poor townie being lynched but there have been times town has been successful in getting a scum day 1. And you know my town and scum games, you know that no matter what I do I always look like scum day 1 to many of you. :sweet: But I am town and only want what is best for town.

In all seriousness time is running out and we won't get a lynch at this rate.

I'm not going to vote for Perce now that you're so set on lynching him. There. Call me a no-lynch supporter if you like, I don't care and neither does my invisible friend Humphrey

Molly certainly seems all over the place now that she's inching closer to the chopping block. I'm happy to Unvote: Delwyn Couch (Ranger of the Forest) and Vote: Molly Tolbert (Lady K). I urge everyone who's here to do the same, this is not going to go well if we can't even get a day one lynch.

My main issue with Perce is just that his acting weird you could easily attribute to him being a noob. It's just such a basic thing to be lynched over in this day and age. My second issue is that votes on him seem to have accumulated quickly. Scum hoping for an early wagon? Town hoping for an early wagon?

I'm still ok with my vote on Perce. Since we've left this to the last minute, it helps that he has pretty much already roleclaimed, so we know we won't be losing anyone important if he is a townie. Personally, I wouldn't mind a no-lynch today, but if others feel strongly about it I wouldn't be opposed to voting for Delwyn or Mike, who are the other two scummiest players to me. I'm leaning towards a town-read on Molly, myself.

This doesn't sit well with me. Leaving your vote on a player unlikely to be lynched when your vote is needed to actually have a lynch? You say you wouldn't mind a no-lynch, but the only people a no-lynch benefits is the scum. :hmpf: Less information for the town.

Dammit. I'm not entirely convinced Molly is scum but we need a lynch. The wagon seems to be drifting off of Perce, and the PM Dragonfire posted is rather incriminating.

Unvote: Perce Triggs (Tachyon)

Vote: Molly Tolbert (Lady K)
