Does anyone know if they actually were up, then sold out, or if they're just not available yet? Like, was anyone able to get the forestman hat, or the dark red hood, or any of the other pieces that said "sold out" yesterday?

The forestman hat was available, but sold out pretty quickly

So what did you order from Jan - May 2023? Just curious  :)

I mean, I really enjoy seeing a list of parts and element ID# here.

I ordered those parts - not all of them are new, I reckon:

Just looking through now and for many items they appear to have the Technic or Duplo logo in the top left of the thumbnail, which is useful. But it's not all Technic or Duplo elements, so still something to be wary of.

A recent new feature I am liking is the icon for identification of Technic and Duplo parts. While there is no filter it will help to easily identify the parts so I don't accidentally order a Duplo brick (if the price doesn't give it away).

It does show that they are continually making improvements as well - improvements that have been asked for since the implementation of the system. If they keep it up the new system has the potential to be much better than the old.

I accidentally purchased a duplo guitar once,  I thought it was a new print of the system one. It was quite a surprise when it arrived in the bag of regular size bricks

I keep trying to shop the PAB and all I get is 'unexpected error'. It be great if the LEGO website ever worked right. And yes I tried two different browsers and cleared cookies.

There is a filter, the "System" dropdown to the left of the "Reset" button

This has to be possibly the worst pricing I've seen on there...

Or for 11p more you get the whole set!

As someone who actually does want to buy Duplo parts, the prices are incredibly frustrating. They're just completely absurd. Standard bricks are several dollars, and anything beyond that is $10-$30. But Bricklink isn't a great place to buy Duplos either because not many people carry them, and few parts are available in bulk.

I tried contacting Lego about this problem a while back, and they just gave me a canned response. It didn't seem like anyone actually read my email.

More parts have landed on pab including most of the interesting new parts from the friends disco (e.g. the trans neon green) and art school (e.g. the sand green)

I just solved the “duplicated” mystery - when I added a few new things to the cart and then hit “view”. It’s where I saw the previous order there so I deleted them before add it to the cart. I never realized that the system didn’t empty the PAB cart after I placed an order…. Lesson learned.

Oh and I accidentally bought Duplo water can becuase i thought it was a minifigure water an, oops.

Does anyone have experience with parts in a cart that go out of stock and then come back into stock again?

I have been adding parts to my basket on a rolling basis (now that the system saves it), but some have gone out of stock and hence disappeared from my basket.

When/if they come back into stock, will they reappear in my basket or will I have to re find and add them?

From what I  can tell you will need to re find and then add again.  I just had to do this with a few parts I knew I had previously added to mine.  I also had to re add parts when they switch from standard to best seller or best seller to standard.

More June parts landed earlier today including the zebra and giraffe from the Friends wildlife rescue, the horse and chicken from the Friends farm and the sails and hull from the Friends sailboat. However, I would advise not buying the giraffe from PaB due to how expensive it is. (excluding Duplo parts, its the 3rd most expensive part currently available behind a pair of giant boat hulls).

As of right now, many of the new parts from the Friends disco, art school, ice cream truck, sailboat, wildlife rescue, water park and farm are available to buy.

Hope the City animals are next :moar:
I assume the chicken/hen are the same as the one in City however it did not show up when I look up the hen-house.
It is more expensive than the sheep and pig as well so that make little to no sense

No, its one of the most frustrating issues for me when I placed an order recently. Had that order open in a tab for about a month adding things. What I would do (and theres prob better way of handling it) is I would copy the url and open in new tab every time I went to add new parts and view basket on old and new tabs and if the price had change, Id scroll through basket on each comparing them until I found the missing parts then make a note of the item number to check at a later stage.

It should keep the parts in the basket and highlight them as out of stock and stop you from adding to bag if OOS items are there but that seems too logical a workflow for PAB at minute.

Oof, but why does MINI WIG, W/ ACCESSORY, NO. 36 (ID: 6396469/85816) cost $5.68 USD?!?
