So from start to finish the Chat took an hour.  Three minutes with the chatbot, 20 minutes waiting for a human. Then pauses in responses from the human lasting anywhere between 5 & 10 minutes.  Still no resolution.  Was told if the parts don't ship in the coming weeks I can contact them again to cancel the order.  Two orders placed after this one have been shipped but they still can't seem to do anything to move this one along.  Oh and at the end she gifted me with "insider points to use at my discretion".  

Told her I didn't want the order cancelled.  At this rate I'll be lucky to get the parts for next Christmas.  My Crocs are still tailless and the gorilla bodies that are on the way are armless until I get this order.

That sucks, sorry! It took a while for me to get connected to, but once I was, it was resolved very quickly. Sorry that wasn't the same for you. Hopefully they'll ship everything soon and we all have completed gorillas and crocs!

The stock has always varied depending on where it comes from.  The only thing that's different right now is that North America is currently restricted to purchasing what is currently warehoused in Illinois as best sellers while the rest of the world has access to all parts currently listed on PAB unless they are out of stock.  So currently we have a pool of under 5000 parts available while the rest of the world has access to at least 3 times that. 

The parts that was not already moved before standard closed down have been out of stock, but seems like some of them are starting to show up. We only have standard parts now it seems:

  • they moved almost everything to bestseller
  • closed down standard for the holidays
  • and seems like they renamed bestseller as LEGO® Pick a Brick

I had something odd just appear today in my list of orders on the Lego site. There's a new order dated yesterday that I didn't place for zero Euros but with all the Standard items from my order on the 1st of October. I already received the Bestseller items so maybe this is how they are dealing with the missing PAB orders from the factory changeover time? I have a couple of other orders that I've gotten the Bestseller pieces but not the Standard, and one with neither. There doesn't seem to be any sign of new orders with the items from those yet.

My standard order (not a very big one since most of the parts in my order were bestseller) from late October has apparently shipped as of a week or so ago and is now on its way to me here in Australia.

 

 

 

Looks like my October 9th standard order is finally being shipped since the status has been changed to shipped.  No charge to credit card yet or actual shipping notification.  Now just the three orders from November left to be shipped.

Me too - my October 9th order has changed to Shipped, but nothing in email.
