RichardGoring Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 The site keeps crashing for me, which is annoying. Will try again later. Quote

When I was assembling my order, it intermittently gave me an error message when I looked up certain parts. I'd type or copy paste the same ID several times, and it'd error message each time. I then had to go look up the set again instead to find the part I wanted and add it. Luckily refreshing the page didn't lose my cart each time I got the error. 34 minutes ago, toydad2 said: I only could order grey squirrels were brown and black available?? I think they all were to begin with. When I got to it it was just black and grey left. Like the sheep and other desirable parts, they'll probably all be back with time. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 I’m so glad everyone here is aware of the threat Grey Squirrels are to Red Squirrels. Quote

Not that it’s their fault, of course. Fun fact, ‘black’ squirrels exist as dark versions of both grey & red types. Not surprised that the red squirrel seems so popular though Quote

When you say dark, do you mean Melanistic? 3 minutes ago, williejm said: Not surprised that the red squirrel seems so popular though I’m not surprised at all, always a bonus to get ne animal molds. It’s unfortunate we never got that Orca in 2018. Quote

Many are repeated from Clone OPatra's excellent list, but this has photos and a few other things on it. LEGO Bricks & Pieces: What to order in January? Over 400 new parts! Maple Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) Oh yeah, tons of them, including arms. I have no idea what LEGO is doing. Let's protest they didn't use the right color for the trans flag. And Bricks and Pieces went down again. It's so weird. NM. I'm no sure what it's doing. Edited January 11, 2022 by Maple Quote
RichardGoring Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 I've just spent an hour adding parts to a Bricks and Pieces order. All in the cart. All fine. Then 'something less than awesome happened' and it's all lost. Sigh. Quote

Maple Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 The new orange with little teal space suit has been added. Sadly the helmet visor piece, 41805, in every color is OOS. Quote
Pchan1983 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 all the new animals are out of stock =( The new fire fighters torsos also out of stock. Will just have to wait or phone for a back order I guess Quote

That worked for individual pieces, but it was during check out that there was a problem, and the cart was emptied. Oh well. I will have to wait for my kittens and squirrels. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 The animals will be back. Now that B&P is catching on more than ever (what with the proliferation of LEGO Instagramers and YouTubers I'd say), there's always going to be a rush at the beginning, but LEGO won't make a shortage of them. Clone OPatra Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Sorry for the double post, but here's something weird I haven't experienced before: I was looking at my order status and saw that I had a discount of 74 cents in the bottom total section. I thought surely a 74 cent part had been excluded from the order, but if that was the case it would usually say so at the top. Ultimately I found it was part 6296353, which shows as $3.36 AUD right now on B&P, is listed as having a price of $3.48 AUD on my order, but with a total of $2.74, so there's my 74 cent discount. Maple Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 A watermelon slice is like $2. I never get that. Also why are bike tires $1 each when you can get two red bikes with the four wheels and Xtras for $4. Bought a bunch more torsos, and then all three ice cream suits. But very importantly, I bought two coral trash cans! Get them while you can because it will be a huge seller in the future. Quote
RichardGoring Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Redid my order from earlier. Took another hour, but 500+ parts will be on their way faster to me than you can read the complete works of Shakespeare, Tolkien, and Tolstoy. Minus kittens Quote
