Oh I don't care about those parts. Even the hair, if it's too much the character gets a haircut. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 BnP is down in the US for the updates. I haven't checked for a few days so maybe this is old news. Quote
The Reader Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Since today B&P is down in Germany for the new version, too. Let's keep fingers crossed that the new version will work. Quote

Let's keep fingers crossed that the new version will work. LEGO's history will say this will be a massive disaster and the LEGO hobby will never be the same again. Also B&P seems to be working fine for me. I'm still waiting for my December 31st order. Edited February 6, 2022 by Maple Quote
MKJoshA Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Wow, so glad I got my "last" order in this past week. Like many I fear the changes will be for the worst. But I'll try to hold out hope. Quote
karrit Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Darn, I was working on an order the other night with a few of the new Globe pieces but never finished. My late December one has shipped but not my January 10th one. I do have a shipment of a few sets out for delivery today from Feb. 1. Quote

Clone OPatra Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 B&P is still active here in Australia, and actually still looks active when I change region to US too. I had no intention to place another order at least until the March sets release, though. Quote
Paco_777 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 It looks like all the prices are being updated (and not in a good way for most of them) Look at that price change for the horse : going from 5.47€ to 11.58€ … Quote

The change in Canada is supposed to happen end of February and i think USA too.. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I can access BnP now. For some reason the S@H URL in my browser was defaulting to Great Britain earlier today. Quote

It’s a custom script I made to track the items I want to get. I usually wait for most of them to be available before making my order. this time it seems that it would have been wiser to make several orders as soon as the items were available 🙁 I’ll see how things will evolve (is the horse a very special case?) but I might reconsider my recent routine from collecting new animals/minifigs I like from B&P. Completely shocking! Not. At least minifigure heads are going down. I'm glad I bought the ice cream piece though if LEGO ever gets my orders moving. Quote

The set cost 30 euro full price and if you get it on sale for e.g. 20 euro the horse is more than half the cost, so I guess BL will be a contender again for some animals We have not been spoiled with small sets with a horse and a minifig the last 10-15 years, but that was rather common previously with themes that had a lot of horses, so if we got that today the price of the horse would be higher than the set, makes no sense Just a few examples: Edited February 7, 2022 by Roebuck Quote
CastleRail Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 The new horse is £10.00 in the UK. That's an absolutely awful price White male lion is up to £9.52 and elephant head is £7.00 vs body (unavailable) at £6.77 so prices don't update until an item is in stock. 8x16 tile has gone from £1.46 to £1.67 and the cannon £1.78 to £2.54. Plant limbs are down to £0.23 and £0.16 respectively and lots of bricks that I've checked are down a penny or two. Overall it does seem to favour bulk lots of common pieces with the larger/specialised prices jumping significantly. You need to buy an awful lot of bricks at a few pennies cheaper to balance the increase in other prices for the same final order cost. I'm disappointed but not surprised. Quote
Hoth Rebel Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 In Belgium the new horse is available for €5.52, but The Netherlands are not available to chose from when you open B&P. The new horse prices are a real shame though. Quote
Pchan1983 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I wonder when my order is shipped out, will they charge me with new price or the price when I ordered .... hmmm Quote
RichardGoring Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I didn't even want that horse, but now I'm tempted to call up and see if I can add it to my last order that hasn't shipped yet. Probably too late, and likely not what I actually want, but it's staggering that the cost has increased so much. When it inevitably goes on sale, you may as well say "buy the horse & husky 60327 minifig pack and get a free horse jump build + an additional 170 bonus pieces to build a car and transport trailer". Anonknee Muss Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Aesthetically and functionally, B&P is the same, unless they are still implementing some more features and a new design, don’t expect much difference except for prices as previously mentioned. Quote
