Though I have used it to complete MOCs, the new parts were always the incentive to make an order. Edit: maybe it's time they bring back service packs. Just bags with cool parts, sorted by theme or something. Edited April 24, 2022 by Exetrius Quote
Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 My god I'm so glad I made a huge order in January to finish up my existing MOC's... I liked to get them cool pieces without the cost of sets - but come on - they must have somehow felt an effect on normal set sales from this. You could order 5 horses instead of getting one in an expensive set. But I do really hope they will start selling normal pieces again. Like many here, I look at all my great MOC's: They would not exist without this service. I just despise the original look of most Lego sets. Ordering around 5€ of parts for each set allowed me to make them something great. I don't want to go back buying random sets only for getting 2-4 of the parts I need to make other sets not look as terrible. In my Razor Crest ship alone, I've used so many of the newer smooth pieces to create a beautiful MOD/MOC, instead of the messy garbage they gave us. I could never get that amount of pieces in the right colour via buying some random sets. My standard for MOC's is too high now So I'm not trashing Lego here, I understand this service is probably more effort then aid for them. But if I cant modify the bad, half finished sets Lego gives us, I will simply not buy any sets from them anymore. There are other, alternative brands were sets always have colour consistency, are smooth on undersides and don't have 50 colours showing through. I've already considered buying some of these sets as parts cheaper parts packs then Lego would ever be. Also you can buy Lego compatible pieces from these brands way cheaper. Quote

But some go above and beyond and others just follow a script. If things don't seem to be going well just try called again later. Thanks, they're now sending me the torsos, though given how long it took them to ship my initial order, it might be several months before I see them. I do also enquire about the purple Garmadon helmet but they said that the part was licensed/ retired so I couldn't order any, guessed as much but thought I might as well push my luck. Quote

Yeah that's a Vidiyo piece so it was retired. I ended up with like 4 of that figure. It's one of my least favorite. Quote

As someone who used B&P mainly for minifig pieces, I am sad to see those go, potentially for good. I know we'll still have the BAM online, but that won't cover minifigs that come in sets. I'll be disappointed if the opportunity to buy those (unlicensed) minifigs loose is gone, but not entirely surprised. Quote

With the free shipping, it was cheaper than bircklink for many pieces, minus the wait! I'm four weeks and counting for the final pieces for a MOC, but have had two best seller orders delivered in less than a week! I don't see why they can make the same turnaround for both. I hope my order gets processed with everything going on. I'm pretty sure the Best Sellers are from Illinois? and the rest of the catalog is from overseas. So that is why they can't have the same turn around time. I'm guessing the Best Sellers are categorized differently and easier to pack also, plus being closer on top of it all. Quote
BrickyDwelve Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) I truly hope it comes back up early May rather than late. I’m needing a ton of curve slopes and brackets that sellers on BrickLink are asking double to triple compared to BnP. One of the downfalls to building a 1:35 scale aircraft.. 😂 Edited April 26, 2022 by BrickyDwelve Quote

For MOCs, I still preferred to use BL as most parts I buy in quantity tend to be cheaper there than on B+P. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 I'm sitting here looking in amazement at all the fabulous new pieces in the new set pictures (the shopping cart back finally! The hare as a living hare! The synthetic leg!) and crying inside that we have no idea if they'll ever be available to buy all in the one place and time from LEGO. Quote

It's really killing the excitement of new sets. However, my wallet (and wife) will be so happy if Lego keeps up this mess that is the new B&P. Quote

I need to go through all this and make a list for when, hopefully, they are all available. So many good things that would be great through B&P, but not worth getting a whole set for. Quote
Lion King Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 I’m so excited about new & cool parts, such as farm aniamls, artificial leg, corn on cob, hare, baby gator, and a few more. It seems the summer wave is so good! Now let’s see about B&P…. Quote
Roebuck Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 With all the new animals I really hope B&P are back soon with the normal prices on them or this is going to cost a lot to fill up my arks with the new animals this summer Quote

Maple Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 People still think any of these awesome new pieces will make it to Bricks and Pieces? That's cute. Quote

teamzissou Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 (edited) An order arrived a few days ago... The knights helmets... the shiny ones at the top are now available. The one slightly below (not shiny) seems to no longer be available and is from an older order. I like this hairpiece. Randomly added to minifig head and body to take pic. I think it's in one of the new Stuntz sets that just leaked or were revealed. Also possibly not new or new recolor. Edited May 2, 2022 by teamzissou Quote

Zoth33 noted the black falcon torso and legs is available. Looking at the US site you can see it has been moved into Bestseller bricks rather than being in Standard bricks. It will be interesting to see how different Bestsellers will be on a regional basis. It may differ based on warehouse size, consumer appetites, etc. Hopefully if they do have different ranges across regions those Bestsellers in one region remain Standard warehouse as well so they are available worldwide. TheLegoDr Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 My order from March 17 just shipped. Looking at my account, it still is listed as waiting for new stock, but when you click on it it reveals everything has shipped except for one part still needing new stock. I've never seen that before. I always thought they held the whole order until everything was ready. So, I'm assuming they'll ship out the part later once it comes in stock. Quote
