I ordered some bestseller parts when they had the double Insider Points (the one befor black friday) and that ones were there very quick. Though, I live in Germany, so no idea how it is in the US. But more than a month for bestseller parts sounds quite long to me. Maybe you should ask Support about it?

I did, they mentioned that although my bricks were in stock when I ordered them, they are so backed up in orders they gave 3,000 vip points and told me I should receive it by Dec 21st 🤔🤔

Ah well then I would go with that date, it is quite specific, so I would just belive them for now lol

I’m just concerned because they keep talking about this shutdown and don’t know if my order will make it in time. 
 

im not complaining since I was trying to do a side project but to sucks it keeps getting delayed, either way I’m sure Lego can make this right 🤣

They usually fulfill the orders made before the shutdown.  They just sent my last standard order from Nov 16th yesterday so hopefully I get it sometime this week.

Do PAB bestseller in the USA shutdown?! If not there is no shutdown anywhere else, they just do not take Standards orders. They are working to get rid of the backlog of orders and focusing on missing parts that have the peak season because of all the gifts for x-mas

That's the definition of... a shutdown. It's just that PaB now has these two services in one, but the old Bricks and Pieces, which is now PaB "standard", usually shut down to the effect of not taking new orders for a period of time over the end of the year. That's what they're doing still, with PaB standard.

Yes OK, but people seem to think that they want get orders they already placed before the shutdown until they open again next year and that is false.

Thanks for the clarification. I incorrectly assumed that by shutting down new orders they weren't going to fill old orders. That all of the PaB resources were dedicated to missing bricks from the Christmas orders.

And my Nov. 24th order has just shipped!

Doesn't look like my Nov. 18 order is going to make it here before Christmas.  They shipped it out on Dec. 15 but it doesn't seem to have arrived in this country yet.  Hopefully it gets here before next year.  Time to start building a new wish list for whenever they start accepting new standard part orders next year.

How do you know it's not in the country yet? I suspect my orders will arrive at the same time as yours, given the conversation last week.

I usually get a notice from USPS Informed Delivery that it arrived at a partner facility which is usually DHL in Avenel, NJ.  I get notices from USPS Informed Delivery when it moves through DHL facilities & then once it's handed off to the USPS I get notices as it moves through USPS.  Currently USPS Informed Delivery is showing they were notified to expect something with no other identifier so I'm not 100% sure it's the LEGO parts yet.  When I get the Avenel, NJ notification it's always been the LEGO parts.  So as far as I can tell currently it hasn't arrived in the US yet.

Man my order i got on the 27th from, not from the bestsellers list is still listed as in the warehouse. Do you know how fast they usually are?

bestsellers usually had a 1-2 day turn around from order to shipment. My bestsellers from November 1st is still back ordered, my standards order arrived as usual however the Lego service rep assured me that it would be shipped out this week and so far no changes to my back ordered status.

So what did you get? I mostly got castle minifigs. 6 lion knights and 5 forestmen. My bestseller's order came early December. I personally don't think its a large order, but seeing it shutdown makes me question if I'm even getting it in February.

I legit got yellow and white bricks to expand my El Dorado fortress. All my orders that had imperials, castle and space arrived already, yet I'm literally waiting on regular lego bricks. Nothing special, no printed bricks, just regular bricks you would use like 1x2, tiles, bricks, 1x6 in yellow, stuff like that really.  Lego told me that when I ordered it, they had it in the warehouse, yet my order was back ordered due to how packed they were.

Rather had the other way, I pay, check that amount gone from account. Then it's sudenly back again, w/o me noticing. Then it is drawn again, when it is finally sent. = I checked main account cash level on weekend, then buy stuff some days later on real shop and ended with... not enough cash on account to pay. = paid in hard cash, after taking a short walk to home.

My order from Nov. 19th was finally marked shipped last week or so, and has been stuck in the limbo-land known as New Jersey for at least four days. The Insiders points were also a little late in getting sent to me... they arrived just two days ago. (I think they're supposed to arrive in my account when it ships from Denmark, but they didn't. I had to contact Customer Service for them to get to me.)

At this point I just hope my parts arrive intact and usable, hopefully by the New Year.

No delivery for me today, so it will be a parts free Christmas. Not that it matters too much, as there is plenty else to do, and it's unlikely I'd start any of the Bricklink MOC Pop-up Store models that all my incoming orders are for anyway. Regular sets for Christmas spread between me and the children will keep us more than busy enough.
