MAB Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 As it is the same print, with just a slight colour variation in the printing, it looks like bricklink is classing it as the same torso. Quote
Exetrius Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 I was checking the Vader Transformation set for the gunmetal stud - unavailable, unfortunately - and found that Palpatine's legs (https://brickset.com/sets/containing-design-18262) are available, which was new to me. Maybe it's my impatience, but I have a feeling the wait for the new parts to appear is taking longer than last year. My intuition says that parts from Nexo Knights, Elves, Cars, etc. should have been released about a month ago. Quote

The Palpatine legs have been available for quite a while. I bought 9 back in Jul 2016, as they look great on Ringwraiths from LOTR. Much better than the plain black. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Maybe this topic should be renamed interesting parts on bnp and moved to general discussion or buy, sell, trades and finds. It just does seem too licensed-centric but whatever. Now I have to ask a strange question, which is as follows: How does one return a Bricks and pieces order? I say this as I made an order and did not come for a long time (more than a month), before it came Lego sent me an email asking if I was satisfied with my order and I said that it had not arrived yet, It arrived about a week later and every thing was fine however less than a week after than another parcel arrived from Lego and inside was the exact same bnp order, I am presuming that they thought it had got lost in the post or something and so sent another (which arrived much faster than the first one) which is good customer service, and very trusting , it would be immoral to keep the second one but I didn't know what to do with it so its been laying in the house unopened for a while ,but then I thought it would be worth a shot to ask here so I am doing thus. On 04/09/2017 at 9:10 AM, anothergol said: I just wanted to try the "call Lego to check" technique, since Lego had it confirmed to me by email (that yes, -sometimes- you can add parts listed as not in stock, if you act fast after your order). God I so hate B&P. I'm a veteran buyer, so I always make a screen cap of my order because the link between B&P & the shop is so broken. And indeed it failed again. Even when you have your screenshot, re-typing 80+ lots is really painful.. Anyway, all this to say that, to add to the insult, Lego's phone number isn't even working for me. And they do warn about it, that some providers don't leave you access it. But I'm using the #1 provider in Belgium, and yet my mobile (who still has a fixed line these days?) can't call Lego.. Just perfect. I so wish Lego had an official BrickLink shop... Bricklink isss technically flawle. I don't mean that shop owners are flawless, but neither is Lego's B&P anyway. So, tip for those who have never bought at B&P yet, -always- make a screen grab before passing the order from B&P to the shop. What browser are you using, as I have found that bnp (and the whole lego site) is quite terrible in chrome but operates smoothly in edge as both have their advantages and disadvantages. Quote

K_Tiger Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Yeah, you don't return them. Call them and tell them by all means, but they're probably gonna tell you to keep them. Do so with a clear conscience. Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 I had the same happen to me as well, they told me that I could keep my first order and should just enjoy the second "free" order. It wasn't a huge order but I was still pleasantly surprised by their generosity. Quote
x105Black Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Yeah, I think it just costs them more with shipping, and I'm not sure they can do anything with bricks that they can't verify the authenticity of, even if it is just a return order. Quote

jonwil Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Anyone want to speculate if the roller coaster parts from the Joker Mansion will show up on Bricks & Pieces or not? Quote

I think not at first, but with these new elements there have to be a new creator rollercoaster in the making, right? My guess is that they show up on bnp with that set. But who knows. I'm just guessing here. The rollercoaster pieces are awesome. Quote
MAB Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 I imagine the roller coaster parts will be incredibly expensive too. Train track is occasionally through B&P, and is about twice the price of BL. Quote
Gomek Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I was speaking to one of the operators today at Bricks and Pieces and she was saying that they are getting very strict on not selling licensed parts. It's unfortunate, and for some some strange reason this now includes Ninjago, despite the fact that this is a Lego owned property. Quote

They have always had the policy, just that they used to mess up a lot! The operators have always said that you cannot buy licensed parts if you phone them, but allow it if they appear in the database. Usually, if you see a part online in BAP, then they will let you buy it over the phone too. The LEGO Ninjago Movie is licensed, whereas the Ninjago theme is an in-house theme. Quote
fastlindyrick Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I just discovered that minifig hands are individually available on B&P. Design number 3820, currently 9 colors in stock, average $0.06 USD per hand. That's half the cheapest available price for the hand colors I checked on Bricklink. Quote

BubbaFit45531 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 If they won't sell licensed parts, at least make available a generic CCBS Constraction head. Quote

Anonknee Muss Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 The roller coaster pieces will show up but won't be available to sell, at first, it may be possible that they sell later on, at least half a year later on. Remember folks, some of the new pieces from the June 2017 sets will become available in January. Quote

MAB Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 1 minute ago, J4ck said: No he was right, it says on the B&P page, Nexo knights and Ninjago are "licensed" 1 The exact wording is this: We’re really sorry, but we aren’t able to sell the minifigures or specialty bricks from “licensed” themes, or NEXO KNIGHTS™ and NINJAGO®. Our licensing agreements with the original creators specify that we can’t sell these “licensed” parts individually but only as part of a set. They say licensed themes, or NEXO KNIGHTS and NINJAGO. So NEXO KNIGHTS and NINJAGO are not licensed themes. They choose not to sell the parts (although in many cases it is not true) but they are not licensed themes. Quote

Some of them, such as the figures from Star Wars™, NINJAGO®, NEXO KNIGHTS™ or THE LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE are "licensed". Meaning they do consider Nexo Knights to be licensed (even though my sense is that it's really not). Quote
