Vorkosigan Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 When the new religion came to the land many pagan shrines were built over with churches. In dark days some of these sites fell into disrepair. A pair of bold necromancers have tapped into the ancient power of the old gods that lie buried beneath the surface... Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) Wow, great job! The use of "brick-bricks" is great and I like the holes in the roof. The candles and knocked-over pews are great touches. I'm not even going to say anything about the monster. It's great. It's all great. Edited December 12, 2015 by mediumsnowman Quote
Fletcher Floyd Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Looking great! I like the idea and the way you've built it it! Quote
Spader Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I'm telling you, that thing in the middle reminds me of Dr. Who.....anyway, nice build, and very nice effects! Quote
Staslegomaster Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 As I often say, every creation needs a story. I'm impressed with both the creation & the story. The snake-like fire is just perfect! How did you make it, I wonder? Quote
gedren_y Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 The title made me think this would be Buffy related. The build seems very Scottish to me, which puts a smile on my face. Very well done. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Thanks for the compliments! The snake-like fire is just perfect! How did you make it, I wonder? Older fire had nubs on the bottom that fit in the "nooks" in the flame, allowing you to chain them. A few years ago the mold changed and these nubs are no longer present. The title made me think this would be Buffy related. The build seems very Scottish to me, which puts a smile on my face. Very well done. Thanks. I did take the concept of the Hellmouth from Buffy of course, as both a place where a lot of dark magic coalesces and a place where there are literal snake demons ready to burst out of the ground. I would like to make an actual Buffy MOC at some point. Quote
Orange Leader Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 That's one thick and massive looking church, and I like It! The scene inside the church is great as well and I like the design of the demon. Quote

Keep on building and give more advice to LEGO fans! Quote
ElCrab Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Great MOC! I was wondering what and where the Hellmouth was, but when I got to the inner shots, mystery solved! Quote
