iamded Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Let's see. I've been playing Half-Life 2 Ep 2, but it's no fun after you clock it. No fun unless you have magic codes! npc_create npc_metropolice is my favourite as it just spawns an enemy where your crosshair is pointing who can't do anything. Great for target practice and testing out your weapons. It's also a lot of fun to give them shotguns and stick them on some roof, then spawn some zombies and watch them duel. Ahem. Anyway, I've currently been playing the game Mount&Blade, a great medieval game, perfect for my love of Castle. Inspiring for Lego models too. Of course today my mates are coming over and we'll be doing a bit of LANing, so I guess games I'll be playing then will be Unreal Tournament Fortress (U4e), Dawn of War: Soulstorm, apparently some Motocross Madness 2 ( , not a fan of racers...) and Unreal Tournament 2004. Oh, and of course Unreal Tournament 3. We're big fans of the Unreal series. ~Peace Quote
Mrs Pegleg Blockbeard Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 PC: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. DS: Sonic rush, adventure. And I can honustly say, it sucks. X-box: Lego Starwars 2 - HOORAH!! Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Lego Indiana Jones. We have 85 percent done so far(me and my brother). I have all the characters, but every time I play Free Play and look at the Character List I see an empty slot. I don't know who that would be! I thought it might be SW characters but there are five!(and I found all five already) Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Then Han Solo should be available in the library for purchase. How 'bout Leia, Hoth Luke, Chewie, or R2? Or do I get them in order, like, I have to get Han first? I'm going there first thing when I get on tomorrow morning... I must have the fast firing, diving and triple speed triple shooting combo bearing, dodging smuggler we all know and love! Quote
Paradosis Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I just bought Civilization: Revolution for the DS this morning. Quote

M'Kyuun Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Recently dug out Thief: Deadly Shadows (2004), third game in the series, and decided to play it again. The Thief games were great, an interesting twist on FPS, esp the first two, where you're restricted from killing when playing on expert. Fortunately, the makers of T:DS didn't have the no-killing qualm, so one can employ deadly force at will. However, it's still fun to eschew killing and finding ways to sneak around your enemies. Hope there's another installment down the road, or a similar game set in the future where you can vape your enemies, but it's cooler to lay low and search for clues/ complete objectives. Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 Playing some Company of Heroes recently. Quote
Plural Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I recently downloaded the original Crash Bandicoot from the PS Store and put it onto my PSP. Ah the nostalgia. The seering, painful nostalgia as I realise that I suck as much as I did 8 years ago. Quote
darkrebellion Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) I spend some hours playing the second best game in the history (The best one is the TLoZ: Ocarina of Time ) and yeah I am talking about TLoZ: Twilight Princess and is because this game is absolutely awesome, I just need to beat the Cave of Ordeals (Mini-dungeon ) and I finish the game in its 100% . iamded Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 There has to be more gamers out there. I assume we can revive this thread? Anyway, I dug up Lego Racers and managed to get it working on Vista. And boy, it sure is fun! Ah, I love all the crazy power-ups and what-not, and the real Lego feel to it. It's really a great game. ~Peace Quote

meschepers Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Lately I have been on a medieval castle simulation kick. I have played through Stronghold, Srtonghold: Crusader, and and awaiting my fresh copy of Stronghold 2. They are seriously great games with good story and a great balance between economy and combat. If you have never played them you should check them out. As far as I know demos are available for all of them. Quote

Wilhelm screamer Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I have found myself more and more addicted to Team Fortress 2 as of late. The recent patch only made my constant habit of picking medic only harder. Quote
iamded Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Lately I have been on a medieval castle simulation kick. If you like medieval games, you should try Mount&Blade. It's still a work in progress, but nearing completion, free to download or 35 USD to buy (totally worth it), which is cheaper than it will be when it's finished and updates are free once bought. Anyway, it's really fun, with ragdoll physics, horseback combat, a large variety of weapons etc... you can see the official page here and the Wikipedia page here for more info. I myself am actually playing Dawn of War: Soulstorm. Mount&Blade, I'll get back to you soon! ~Peace Quote
