Mr Greeble Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Wow seriously amazing! I love it when lego things function! Quote
Hobbythom Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Now I remember why I never ride these things! In all seriousness. I love the fact that it is so compact, just the right size. A very clean build. Well done! Quote
Ferritine Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Really great, I supported you in lego ideas. Quote
paul_delahaye Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 As a stationary set, this looks amazing, although at that speed, it all just becomes a blur, the minifigs will be very sick! And I'm not convinced about the rocking motion? But it's certainly got me thinking about what the next Lego carnival/fair ride could be, maybe a pirate ship ride? or waltzer? Quote
gabrielerava Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Beautiful! I supported it on Ideas. Everyone should do so. How many pieces have been used (more or less)? Quote
Legogal Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Nice park build with some exciting structures! It flows quite well and sits nicely across the river from the buildings. Congratulations on the layout! Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 This is amazing! Really nice job, wouldn't be surprised if some minifigs flew off though... Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Love it! It's a nice, clean build and i really like the colours. I think it fits perfect with the other official lego rides. But as a minifig I wouldn't ride on it ... no back to lean against and no safety belt Quote
shannanigan Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 This is so amazing!! My 2nd favorite carnival ride... right after the Tilt-o-Whirl! :D Quote
Mpyromaxos Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Great job! it came up very beautiful! Quote
tkel86 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Thank you for all these positive comments, as I have promised I will try to finish the LDD file. Soon I will also create a manual version without motor. Quote
RoastPotato Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Wow, that's fantastic. I'll have to share this with some friends who are working on a giant theme park MOC Quote
stiggy07 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 The LDD file would be great , would love to build it to go with a few other fairground rides I have. Thanks in advance Quote
KlodsBrik Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 This looks really good. If anything, the minifigs should be closer to the ground. I feel like they will have a hard time getting onboard the ride ! Quote
Solscud007 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Can't wait for the LDD file. The wife wants to make one. Quote
-zenn Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Just wow... The only comment I have, I'd try to make it somewhat slower... Other than that, outstanding work! Quote
coffeefund Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I like your city very much! Wish I had that much space in my flat... The river looks a bit empty now, time for some boats! Quote
animelandia Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Bye do you have an update fo this moc ? do you finish file LDD? Quote
Master56 Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Very nice build, could be a official lego set I would also like to have the LDD file. Then maybe I can get my own example sometime in the future.... Quote
TheBrickBuilder Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 This is amazing!!! I would also love to have a copy of the LDD instructions please :) Quote
Sarah Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) brilliant!! i must say, i have never seen a real one of these before. have seen pictures online and such, but never in person. i would be terrified of smacking into that central support, even though the g-forces would likely make that impossible. I LOVE the swing ride. Its probably my favorite. Makes you feel like you are flying (ON the rides I have ridden, it does not rock like that. Rather it telescopes. So the chairs are near the ground when you get on. But once the ride starts, you are flying higher in the sky. Especially beautiful when you are partially over water and can see the whole park and you go.) But my husband gets motion sick on it :( Where did you get the chains from?
