No,

Sigfig intro = 25 db it does not get 10 extra if you post it in a separate topic.

Free build 1 = 10 db

Free build 2 = 10 db

Free build 3 and more = number of likes dependable doubloons.

Yes - as long as the build is substantial enough to count as a freebuild.

That's my understanding too. You get 25db for signing up and presenting your sigfig in the fraction's sign up thread. If you build also a scene featuring your sigfig in a separate topic, it'll count as a freebuild after you registered it as a freebuild in the proper freebuild thread of the month.

No actually. You just plain can't go in the red. You can't walk up to the cashier and pay cash you don't have. So you can't buy a property with money you don't have. At the very least you would have to borrow it first!

So is it possible to sell your ship without using the services of a property agent by starting a for sale thread yourself and completing the transaction through the form?

You also need to register it by the webform, Dr., but other than that, you are correct.

I think you are able to do almost any transaction you should like, as long as you have the money for it.

Any BoBS game Lord can confirm that if I post my intro pictures in a separate thread I get extra doubloons(over the 25)?

I personally think this is very silly, as at first introduction builds weren't even supposed to have an own thread, but had to be posted in the fraction thread.

Posting the guidelines:

If you post SOLELY your minifig (without background, some furniture, a building accompanying it or anything besides a bare minifig) on your faction's thread, you get 25DB and that's it. If you go the extra mile and post your minifig on a suitable environment, with friends, in his/her room, or wherever you can imagine (by building a decent MOC), then, that counts as a freebuild as well and can net you another 10DB, provided

1) you post it in its own thread besides the faction's thread AND

2) complete the free-build online form AND

3) post its link at the freebuild thread.

So, I have 2 questions!

1. As you all may know, blackdeathgr and I are going to duel. For this, we're going to build a vignette. Should I count and register this vignette as freebuild?

2. After the duel, I'll MOC the results. Is there a special webform for MOCings of results (of duels, but also of the MRCA)

There will have to be a special webform I will have to create ... or I will have to modify the free build form (which is most likely.) Just another thing to fix before end of month. I will add it to the pile lol. You should count all builds as free builds unless they are challenge builds or something else that specifically says not to.

Yes and no... If you just posted a sigfig, then it would not be a free build, if you put together a scene, I think we have generally been counting these as freebuilds as well.

Nobody is required to pay anybody anything. You could sell by yourself if you wanted.

I have a question about upgrading the free licence build, by paying 25db extra. I am making a medium factory. How do I proceed to do that?

Should I register the build as my free licence and register a new small building with the same link?

I hope to get a bit of daylight by tuesday and post my january builds by midweek.

How do the extra dbs for free builds get calculated?

I know it depends on the amount of votes, but there is also a 3 week period to count them.

Do you get some dbs at the end of the month and then possibly some more in the next month?

To start with we're going to award the full sum after the three weeks is over just to keep things simple.

I think we can safely assume that most of the third+ freebuilds' three-week approval periods will span part of two months. As this progresses there is the possibility that we may award any DBs earned at the end of the first month and award the rest when the three weeks are over.

If i were you, i would post it as a medium factory using a free licence. Then, i would use the transaction form to send 25DB to your faction leader so as to sort this. This can be your final solution if you dont get an answer till the end of the month. And dont worry, it's a friendly game and you wont have negative numbers since you have already posted your question and intentions here (provided you have the extra cash for the upgrade ofc).

If it is one of the first three, then yes, it will come right back. Any vessels the faction licences beyond those three will be lost at sea if it is sunk, if you know what I mean

So the MCRA form says "Remember, your vessel can only travel through as many zones as it has speed +2." I thought speed had to do with how many ports a vessel can visit? Does it also limit zones? So if my ship has a speed of 2, it can only visit 2 zones?
