Yes, you are right Brick On of course, great suggestion! The key thing is that they are in a place where everyone can clearly see them, and in this thread they could get lost amongst everything else going on.

Kai, I think there will be plenty of minor changes over time, there are still many mechanics not even introduced yet (and bear in mind that rule clarifications may require changes in rule wording as well). Yes, Ska is still the top banana for rules, I see the Recorder's role as simply recording what gets decided, and making sure the published rules are clearly and unambiguously expressed.

One other thing, Kai, would you mind clarifying your gender? Maxim and Brick On seems to be disagreeing! Thank you!

Maxim of all people would know that I'm a her? pirate_look.gifpirate_laugh2.gif]

Next time a rule is changed then, it can be posted in its own topic and future rules can be posted there as well.

Woah, dudes and dudette(s?) - I was merely jesting that Kai seemed to be very well versed in the rules. I am pretty sure that she is already doing what you suggest. The title was just for fun pirate_tong.gifpirate_laugh_new.gif

In general, this is the discussion thread, so optimally, this is also where discussions should take place, so we are sure that all will have a chance to chip in. It is, in fact, with questions and answer, the main purpose of this thread.

Please don't hide general rule discussions in some obscure thread no one sees.

Hi Bregir, I think you have misunderstood the plan; the new thread would be for agreed rule changes ONLY, not discussions of those changes, which could happen in many threads and PMs. I think we can set the rule change thread up so it is only open to Kai and locked to further comments, discussions or posts. That way we have a simple, clear and acessible list of rule changes, as a permanent record and available to all. Lets try it anyway and see how it works out. I hope this meets with your approval!

hahaha, I know she is a female :p

Sorry Kai, it's not bad meant...

Careful, you may end up hanging by your toes off a palm tree. pir_laugh2.gif

As I've sort of already been doing some record upkeep I've no objection to getting official recognition for the job. pirate_laugh2.gif But if I am a keeper of records, Ska is still the maker of records. pirate_wink.gif

And actually most of what goes on here is more rules clarification than actual rule changes, and when there are rule changes, I will certainly edit those in, but I hope we're pretty much past the revision period (at least until we hit MRCA v.2).

@Brick on, I'm hoping there won't be many more rule changes, otherwise I'd say that a new topic is a great idea.

The clarification should be compared with the revelant section of the rule and added if it makes sense. Or the rule rewritten so that the ambiguity is removed. At least summarized in the leadership forum so that leaders can review or be aware.

This is also useful skill to have if you ever plan to start a LUG with Bylaws and Meeting Minutes..

Can anyone clarify what the rules are for vessels owned by companies in terms of ship-limits and upkeep? Gracias!

This has not been determined, but will be determined in the MRCA 2. There will be company upkeep. Most likely similar to faction upkeep, with a few free ships.

Ahoy! Another day, another question:

The settlement rules say that every settlement must have its level worth of each type of property (except fort, education and culture), but it is also mentioned that the shown levels are wrong. Any idea what the real levels are?

That is actually being debated on the back end. Expect an update soon!

Is there an updated Freebuild License form that includes the religious and cultural options?

Education and Art & Culture options are in the Property License Form Thanks for bringing it up.

Great to see the game is developping !

Me too I have just a question :

I built a fisher wharf in march and licensed it as a commerce.

I saw Eslandola citizens have an advantage with that category of building.

So, where I have to specify that build is a commerce and, as I am an eslandian, I have advantage on it or will it be automatically counted in the next month income ?

Ditto for my town hall. I licenced it as a medium commerce last month.

It will (or should be) automatically counted in the next month's income.

Until someone responds, you can always check Dr Spock's auto mail-answer to check it (if this works for recent builds) and/or BoBS index

The BoBs Index is not a reliable source atm for this. I know for a fact that I did not licence the city gate, and I am unsure about the Surgeons Office. So, unless Eslandola have licenced the city gate without telling me, I can say for sure that it is not correct.

I have another question, regarding the EGS categories:

Is it supposed to be Royal Bank in commerce, Education and Art&Culture? I would think it should be Royal Academy/University and Royal Cathedral in the latter two.
