Capt Wolf Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Sir Stig, I'm pretty sure banks were identified as an example of commerce builds. Quote
Sir Stig Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Can it be not just limited to a cathedral for art and culture. I would prefer to have a choice, could be a huge museum and gallery instead... Yeah, I think of it as an example. And Bank is a poor example for Education and Art&Culture... Quote
Bregir Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I think that is just due to the charts being copied from each other, Sir Stig. Quote
Captain Genaro Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Can someone tell me if I licensed my Governor's Office? Thanks If you mean this build, yes, you have a small commerce license. Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Yeah, I think of it as an example. And Bank is a poor example for Education and Art&Culture... :pir-laugh: Yes, that is undoubtedly a copy paste error. Ska is probably too busy to fix it however. Quote
dr_spock Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The BoBs Index is not a reliable source atm for this. I know for a fact that I did not licence the city gate, and I am unsure about the Surgeons Office. So, unless Eslandola have licenced the city gate without telling me, I can say for sure that it is not correct. You can use this form to get a listing all the property license forms you have submitted under your username. Hope that helps. Quote

SkaForHire Posted April 16, 2016 Author Posted April 16, 2016 This is going to sound bad -- but if you are one of the people waiting to hear about a mine you put up LAST month, please remind me of who you are and where you put up your mine. Thank you! Quote

SkaForHire Posted April 16, 2016 Author Posted April 16, 2016 Prospecting on Île de Zeus You have struck Mercury I put one up in Tiberia. You have struck Silver (of course, I guess you need some of Gideon's new found quicksilver to purify what you find!) Quote
kaiju Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 A question regarding the under-licensing of ships (with a view to later upgrading the license): Can you use your free license to under-license a ship with, paying the full amount of the higher license once sufficient DBs are available? Quote
Maxim I Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Absolutely forbidden! (I am sure my fellow Naval licence members confirm this, just like the leaders will) :) Edit: after rereading: so you will pay in the end the full price for the class it fits? Edited April 16, 2016 by Maxim I Quote
kaiju Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Absolutely forbidden! (I am sure my fellow Naval licence members confirm this, just like the leaders will) :) Edit: after rereading: so you will pay in the end the full price for the class it fits? That would be the plan, yes. Use the ship as my free license, using the Class 2WR stats, until such a time as I have enough DB to pay for a Class 3 license, and then pay the full cost of that license (the ship in question is my recently posted Mirthless Jest). I don't currently know how many DB I have, since the Scorecard hasn't been posted yet, which is why I'm asking about using the free license (my last free license ship sank during the last MCRA). Maxim I Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I am going to take back my earlier response then :) gonna talk about it with the Naval Licence Court Quote
Bregir Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 As part of the Naval Licensing and Prize Court, I think I can say that that would be ok. However, it would be best if you could find a way to explain the difference in character. It is probably best explained by why the vessel initially does not have the full power it should have. And a small build of some sort to explain returning to full power again would be great too. Our main concern is IC consistency. Quote
dr_spock Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 As part of the Naval Court, I would say this is ok. Going from a class 2 to class 3 is not huge jump. I think you may better to make another class 3 ship if you pay full on the license. You won't be able to use the free license again once you licensed a class 3. Alternatively, build a 2 class ship to use the free license now and hold off licensing your Mirthless Jest as class 3 until you have the funds. Quote

Sir Stig Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 The King's port advertiser shows the wrong result table (the one from february). Be aware, before you start adding amounts into the accounting tool. Quote
Maxim I Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 (edited) Talking about the King's port advertiser: The raiding of Tarlo was not the first act of piracy done by the Sea Rats! The month before they captured an Oleon warship! (Named "Oleon", captured by MKJoshA)... And it is well known the month before that (the first recorded MRCA), they send their vessels on a (failed) predator run! Edited April 17, 2016 by Maxim I Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 The month before they captured an Oleon warship! (Named "Oleon", captured by MKJoshA)... Oleon has no quarrel with the Sea-Rats. The Secrétaire d'Etat de la Marine would like to point out that this ship was not recorded in the official naval register of Oleon, and thus cannot be considered an Oleon warship. Quote
blackdeathgr Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Oleon has no quarrel with the Sea-Rats. The Secrétaire d'Etat de la Marine would like to point out that this ship was not recorded in the official naval register of Oleon, and thus cannot be considered an Oleon warship. Our naval observers clearly stated that "Oleon" had already gone rogue (possibly to commit acts of piracy by itself). So, another piece of misleading information the Corrington yellow press spreads out to slander our majestic nation? Quote
MKJoshA Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Yes, the name of the ship was Oleon, nothing more. And it was only captured because I was first attacked. I was acting as an escort for a trade run when we were attacked. And please let it be known that while not all Sea Rats are pirates because not all of us are engaged in piracy, we are all outlaws and we like it that way! Quote
CelesAurivern Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 The month before they captured an Oleon warship! (Named "Oleon", captured by MKJoshA)... It was also recorded that the "Oleon" was captured through a defensive battle. SR were not the aggressors. Quote
