Kai NRG Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I used to have a pet rat. She was cute in a rat kind of way. If we joined the factions based on our pets, I would be a Sea Rats. Some of you would be Sea Cats or Sea Dogs or Sea Chickens. ... Any Sea Horses out there? Or Sea Horse Wannabes? I'm wondering if we've got some Sea Turtles or Sea Snakes. Does having had a pet bunny years ago make you a Sea Bunny? Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I've never had a pet. Does that make me an empty sea or a Neighbor's Sea Dog Watcher? Quote
Bregir Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 A question: I would like to spend 20 dbs out of the King's Harbour Town Bank. How do I go about transferring them? Currently, you can only choose either a character or a tradecompany in the transaction form. Thank you in advance. Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Use the individual form and put the settlement's name in the "Your EB name" slot. (The settlement name only; not "bank of ____.") Quote
Capn Frank Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Use the individual form and put the settlement's name in the "Your EB name" slot. (The settlement name only; not "bank of ____.") Thank you Kai. Quote

robinnilsson403 Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 If I want to license a large culture, do I have to build a small and medium first, or can I just pay for them and only build the large one? Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 If I want to license a large culture, do I have to build a small and medium first, or can I just pay for them and only build the large one? Just build large and pay everything at once, for Oleanders a large culture license costs 120DB. Quote
robinnilsson403 Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Just build large and pay everything at once, for Oleanders a large culture license costs 120DB. Wouldn't it be 60DB at the moment? :-) Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Wouldn't it be 60DB at the moment? :-) You'll get half of those 120DB back, but you'll still have to pay them first. It's a technical thing. For more details you'll have to ask Phred or Captain Genaro. Quote
Maxim I Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 At all Oleon'ers, As the Purple Rain still is anchored in one of your harbours, the gun shotsyou just heard were no acts of war, but a tribute to a prince who passed away... Quote

A Prince? The Prince The entire Breshaun Squadron was ordered to fire shots in tribute, also. Quote
Bregir Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Yeah, I got that too, now... The batteries of King's Harbour are firing a full princely salute, as are all vessels of the Montoya Estate.... Quote
TitusV Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Altough the Prince was before Elysabeth's time, the coast batteries of Fort Elysabeth are firing another salute. Quote
MKJoshA Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 All the Sea Rats are firing their cannons as well, but for completely different reasons... Quote
gedren_y Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Nightblood and Darkstar are resting their instruments on this day. They went to the beach before high tide, drew the late Prince's symbol in the sand and watched the tide wash it away. Back in Bardo proper, Darkstar sang something about starfish and coffee while Nightblood haggled with a merchant over a large bolt of purple cloth. Quote
Vedauwoo Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Hopefully early next week. Did I miss this somewhere or is it still not up? Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Did I miss this somewhere or is it still not up? It's still not up. I'm not really in on it; I was relaying Ska's EST but if that was wrong I wash my hands of it. Don't blame me! Quote
Maxim I Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Is there a reason why we have to choose what size the build is when filling in the webform? The only logical reason is for the settlement value determination, but then again, we don't have to fill in the place of action? Quote

Maxim I Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 That's when licencing stuff. There is no location question on just freebuilds Quote

I've always wondered about not having a "location" slot on the free-build form, but oh well. Quote
