Bregir Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Quick question: are we allowed to rename a captured ship? Quick Answer: Yes - it has been done already, I believe! Just make sure it is made clear. (Eg. write: "Unsinkable 2 (Formerly unsinkable 1)" when you capture it) Edited May 23, 2016 by Bregir Quote

Elostirion Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Thanks for the map, Mike! I've added them to brickseas.com as well (feel free to visit and click around the map). My map over there will need some finetuning, but for first this should do. Feel free to add your builds on those new islands... Edited May 23, 2016 by Elostirion Quote
SilentWolf Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I had a question for discussion. What would be considered the best category to license an onshore fishing MOC as? I think it could fit vaguely into several categories so I was curious what others might have already done or what others thought. Quote

What is your fishing MOC? Quote
SilentWolf Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I built a small fishing Indian build for challenge 1. As there is now a settlement where it happened, I was thinking of licensing it. Quote
CelesAurivern Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I built a small fishing Indian build for challenge 1. As there is now a settlement where it happened, I was thinking of licensing it. Mmmm, it's fishing for subsistence right? Perhaps cultural, since it's a way of life? Else I would put it under farming (plantation) Quote
Capt Wolf Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I like the idea of licensing it as a plantation, especially if they're fishing in the same spot regularly. It serves the same function as a farm/plantation. Quote

SkaForHire Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 the MRCA form for may is up and running with the contractor option. There is a new army raising form And a form telling us where units are located. Use this form to move forces from now on. Quote
Jacob Nion Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 the MRCA form for may is up and running with the contractor option. There is a new army raising form And a form telling us where units are located. Use this form to move forces from now on. So do troops on vessels work as increasing modifier for boarding action? And does this work for the coming MRCA? Aaaaaand how can we dismiss troops we don't need anymore? Quote
Garmadon Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Every platoon is worth 2 in the crew rating, and every ship may take on board only enough troops to double the original crew rating, rounded down (e.g, a Class 5HA has a crew rating of five, and can take on two platoons of soldiers, which raises its crew rating to 9 - but it cannot take on three, as that would make the rating 11 which more than doubles the original rating. Platoons cannot be broken down into smaller army units). Quote
SkaForHire Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 It depends when they become automated, it might be a manual chore to delete troops. I will let one of the automaters answer that. Quote
Bregir Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) EDIT: Strike all that - I figured it out myself... Edited May 25, 2016 by Bregir Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I don't know if I have to mention it here but I created a little prospecting build in order to settle a mine in Elysabethtown in Berelli for the MAESTRO Company. I saw Ska asked some players about the mining prospections here so I am saying it here too. Quote
Jacob Nion Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I may have missed it, but is there an updated list of the trade values? And the zones? Quote
Elostirion Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 2 Questions: 1. Would my entry for challenge 1B qualify as a prospecting MOC for a mine? 2. Is there any limit to the amount of prospecting MOCs per month? Do those count towards the property license limit? Quote
Capn Frank Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I may have missed it, but is there an updated list of the trade values? And the zones? I'm really sure that Ska is not going to update the zones and trade values this month, possibly next month. Quote
SkaForHire Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 YEs, even if we don't have a new MRCA next month we will have a new map. For now, one last month on this map. Quote
