Ayrlego Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) So while leadership are taking requests..... 1. Would we be able to get maps for the round of islands from challenge 2? For Corrington I'm specifically talking about Alicentia (Island 9,"The Wind Catcher" - Sea of Thieves) and Lacryma (Island 4, "The Teardrop" - Sea of Thieves). The new islands would be nice as well, but the old ones to start with would be great!!! 2. So I know that discovering the bonuses of an island are trail and error, however I think some things may have slipped through. In April I licensed a Cocoa plantation in King's Harbour, Cocovia. At the time I asked about bonuses and was told (by Scarst in the Corrington private thread) I'd probably need to wait until the end of the month when the income for the plantation was calculated. Nothing was revealed, so to check I asked again and Ska replied on the 19 May that he believed there was a +3 bonus and would check later. Things became really busy around then and we all forgot about it. So now, just wondering Is there a bonus for cocoa plantations on Cocovia? I don't mind about the lost income, happy to write it off, but I am keen to reveal a bonus for Bregir and Tomsche to add to their settlements on Cocovia! Also if we want to examine the way bonuses are managed I'm happy to help. As a suggestion, If you want to give me access to the bonuses for all the settled islands (except Corrington's processions - for transparency/fairness) I'd be happy to audit the existing settlements and check to see if anything further had slipped through, perhaps someone could volunteer to do the same for Corrington?? Just a thought to help lower the admin burden on you guys. Edited October 27, 2016 by Ayrlego Quote

Island bonuses. We'll get back to you on this. If you're lucky it'll be before the window of opportunity is closed again Quote
Maxim I Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 As it is kinda impossible to evaluate bonuses solely on the account sheet, would it not be a better solution that people can keep track of their licenced properties (already possible when filling your emailadress), and when receiving the list, you see also the monthly yields of those buildings? Elostirion Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Quote 9) Forts:Forts are defensive positions, and they protect from raids. Unlike the other properties, the cost to set up a fort is not given back to the faction in licenses. The DBs are removed from the game when a Fort is purchased. Each fort size has a protection radius. This comes into play when resolving raids.Unlike other properties, forts are expanded rather than licensed at different sizes. This means that every fort must start as a small, pay the construction cost to upgrade to a medium, pay the construction cost to upgrade to a large, and pay the charter cost to upgrade to a Royal Fortress. However, each level is permanently counted against the limit. So, the max fort size in a grand city (with the limit 4 separate forts total) would consist of one small, one medium, one large, and one Royal. Is this still valid? And also, does this only apply to the costs and the licensing process, or does it also apply to the MOCs? i.e. for a large fort will I have to MOC three MOCs, one small, one medium, one large? Sir Stig Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Have I missed anything or are the new automatic November MRCA postponed? Quote
SilentWolf Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I don't think a date has been set for the next MRCA, as right now we aren't on an end of month basis. Also we are still awaiting the results of the last MRCA that sailed out of ports October 15th. Quote

We've been working on the new system in the Court and I think you guys are gonna like what's we've got so far, but yes, it will take a bit of time. I'd like to be able to say that we'll be able to launch it before the end of this month, but I really can't be sure of that so I'd better not make promises! Quote

Kwatchi Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 @SkaForHire Hi. With the start of a new month, I'm looking for the result of my mine exploration from October on Infero Pordejon. As for the island's description... Quote Geographical Features: 50 to 200ft High cliffs on all sides of this small island, an active volcano that gives off smoke more than a couple times a year. Highly volatile, its eruption this year was felt as far away as Nelissa. Rumors: The high volcanic activity has led some to believe that there is gold to be mined in the cliff regions of this island. A large native tribe lives on this island, and they are rumored to be hostile. Thanks in advance. (Crosses fingers for a decent roll this time) Quote

I could use the ones we have from the minimap but the originals are a lot more detailed in shape so I think it is best to wait for them. In the meantime, I have updated the Nellisa and Cocovia maps on my Flickr account and can work on another Sea of thieves island tonight. Any suggestions? Edited November 2, 2016 by Mike S Quote
