pyro690 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Great idea! Could put some chain in the mast if you need in B model! Quote
Brickis38542f Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I love to see people building forklifts, this design is a good reason why, love this ! Quote

2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 This is such a nice model...! Quote
Krall Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Hi again ! I rebuilded rear part of model and wheel arches . I also made new photos. Now back is higher and thears some place whear I can put fake engine I also made a volume test to make sure that isin't it too big :D You could probably make a race car as B-model. Maybe, but I was thinking about a pick up Tow truck as a B model Thanks for comments ! Appie Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Maybe, but I was thinking about a pick up Tow truck as a B model Thanks for comments ! Oh this is funny. I want(ed) to built a forklift for this contest as well (if I get time for it) and had 2 ideas for a B-model. One of them was a tow truck I was already leaning towards using the other idea for the B-model, but no doubt now I guess Anyway, reason I quoted the picture as well, the back looks pretty good now, the cabin still looks a little off to me, maybe make the rear of the roof straight instead of it being at angle? Or make the "front window" shorter so the roof is straight? I think that would make it look even better. Either way, it's a cool model and I look forward to your B-model. Quote

I was thinking about that solution but these flexible pieces on front are too long and I'm afraid that they will damage other elements. Quote
Appie Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) Yeah something like that. Looks pretty good. I wouldn't worry about the rigid hoses damaging other parts, they can bend quite well. I think you can fix them at the sides of the red lift arm below the steering wheel with a #1 connector. Or use a #3 connector instead of the #4 and place it one stud closer to the cabin. With both options the rigid hose will make a little bend, but no stress on other parts I think. Up to you of course. It looks solid already. Just making a suggestion for a tweak. Really cute little model. Edited December 18, 2015 by Appie Quote
MaxSupercars Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I like the 2 sections lift a lot. Looks very promosing! Max Quote
Krall Posted December 24, 2015 Author Posted December 24, 2015 Update time ! I think tfis is a final version, if I will make any changes they probably will be invisible, I lifted up old cab so it looks more realistick I made a lot of changes inside of vechicle and in lifting section . And hear is a fake engine: I allso made a LDD version. 9Model have 422 bricks) If you will want i will share it, but after competition :D And i took it apart, at this photo u can see all pieces from model. Oh not this photo, this: Now it's time to build a B model... Quote
Krall Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Hi everyone! I have realised one of my ideas for B model, a Harbor crane: I used about 3/4 of pieces but I don't have anymore to upgrade it. I think that I will keep looking for something other... Krall Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Well done. Getting a good B model is difficult. This looks great. I can't agree with you, especially that the topic isn't very popular... But anyway thank you for your support:) Quote
muffinbrick Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 It looks interesting, maybe if you make more detailed pictures of both models plus video of their functions, you will get more replies and support. Quote
Krall Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 I think I found my B model: A little Tow Truck. Functions: HoG steering Winch wheel lift here is a comparison to the 6913. Quote
pgplay Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Looks cute:) But think I liked the crane better. This model B looks a bit like a forklift that went under a low bridge and didn'tmake it. Really like the A model Quote
legosamigos Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Nice a forklift, but I think, that the forks are too big Quote
