The narrator fumbles, trying to flip the next page. The pages seemed to be stuck...

Nerwen digs with her shovel figuring if anywhere has valuables it'd be a mine.

Digging into the earth with her shovel, Nerwen digs, finding a large gold ore. Lucky you!

The party moves through the opening, following Nerwen's heavenly light. Making their way through the tunnel, the party can hear noises up ahead. Scratching of stone together, the rushing of water, it all seemed to be coming up ahead. It seemed to be coming from behind them as well. What would the party do?

Nerwen's sharp hearing picked out the noises of both before and behind.

We may be about to be attacked on two fronts. Master Nur, Miss Arbour, could you guard our rear as we move forward? heruamin Thalion, assist Master Skrall to the fore. I will stay in the middle so both sides can see and I can help either.

Nerwen steps aside to let Thalion pass.

"Master Skrall, stay behind me." He raised his shield, positioning it in front of him and moved forward to try to determine where the noises might be coming from.

Nur puts a hand to his stomach and uses the other to brace himself against the ogre. "Oo. Excuse me." En Sabah Nur shifts into crow form. He struts towards the side of the tunnel, lifts his tail feathers and expels some waste before returning to his human form. "Yes, I am well once more!"

The sound looms closer and closer to the heroes, like a whirring swarm of locusts. It drowns out all other noise and in a blink of flashing light the party finds themselves back outside of Ernesto's house, except his house is gone! Seemingly ripped from the foundation, all that's left is a crater sized hole where the writer's home once sat.

Nerwen looked up at the sky. The positions of sun and moon jumped. She was used to time passing strangely when questing and in the hall, but this was odder still.

The figure was silent. She stepped back and settled to the ground, seeking to achieve a meditative state while waiting.

I believe what has transpired here was the work of a demon. What demon, I'm not entirely sure, but I did pull you out of it's domain in the house before it could suck Ernesto's house... wherever it sucked it.
