Alebricks Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) Hi all, after buying the toy shop and santa's workshop this year I decided to create a diorama on three baseplates 48 x 48 using also the village market that I bought last year and bricklinking the bakery. Hope you like it Edited December 19, 2015 by Alebricks Quote
alsielou Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Yes I do like it - very much! Your arrangement of the sets is pleasing and your meandering cobblestone path really ties them together beautifully. The tiled area under the tree is nice too and helps to make it stand out as the centrepiece. The expanded pond looks a good size too. Lovely! Quote
doink Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I think this is awesome. It's got lots to look at and is interesting - nicely done. Quote
JudgeChuck Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 That's really nice! Just what I would like my own Winter Village to look like, when I've got some more sets and pieces. :-) Quote
Kristel Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Looks great! Would be nice to see the path extended, to really tie it all together. Quote
GI_Jack Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Beautiful! It looks like a very happy village, full of snow and people enjoying this time of year. Quote
OmShanti Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Nicely executed, looks amazing! The detail you put into this is phenomenal, well done. Quote

It's less crammed than mine. I have all those buildings and 3 more in that same foot print. I need more space to expand the village, but this year it will be very cozy. The little added details really make it stand out. Thanks for sharing. Quote
Naptown11 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Love builds like this that are kept simple yet have everything you could want as far as details go. This is the perfect size to either put on a coffee table or china hutch to display during the xmas season. Quote
connyx Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Very lovely. Total winter feeling! Details always do the trick. Quote
AusMinifig Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Nice to see them all together, Looks fantastic! Will you be adding this years 10254 winter train? Quote
aukevin Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Looks great. I'm going to borrow your cobblestone path idea for my village! Quote
