"I think I recognize some of you. Were any of you here on the island a few months ago?" Rex questions. Edited February 26, 2016 by KingoftheZempk Quote
Kintobor Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 OOC: What exactly does the whip do? Annienal put her shield aside and began to clean the Hero Venus Trap goo from her sword. "Um, Traci, are you alright? I hope I didn't hit you." Annienal's focus soon shifts after she notices the woman's armour. "I, um... really like your armour." Quote
KotZ Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 It's the same one that you can find in the market, nothing special about it, mistakenly placed the stats on the ruby and not the whip. "Yeah, I think I'm alright," Traci replies, adjusting her eyepatch. "Really? Thanks. I just had it made and nobody has told me whether they like it or not." Quote
KotZ Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 "Is that a problem?" Jackson returns. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 "Is that a problem?" Jackson returns. "No, just wondering if there weren't a few of you dragged deep into the forest or something. Just making sure." Quote
Dragonfire Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) Avalanche's mouth twists into a wry smile as the last nymph hits the ground. He glances at the pile of loot, sifting through it absent-mindedly; nothing really stands out to him except maybe the nostrum or the soma. He then hears Jackson's sharp reply to Calamity, "Is that a problem?" Jackson returns. Ambling over to the pair, Avalanche remarks in a somewhat disbelieving manner, "Do you mean to say that there are just three of you, plus the captain? Your 'militia' is only four men strong?" "Well at least some of us wear protection," Traci replies with a smirk. "Seriously, you think that jacket and bandanna will protect you from a sword?" Her gaze returns to Annie. "It's actually from my grandfather in Eubric. He made it for me. He came and visited Tridentia and designed it for me." Ambling over to the pair, Avalanche remarks in a somewhat disbelieving manner, "Do you mean to say that there are just three of you, plus the captain? Your 'militia' is only four men strong?" "After the recent raids we started losing a lot of militia. There's just not enough people on the island that can form a full-time militia. So it's just us four as of now." Quote
Dragonfire Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 "After the recent raids we started losing a lot of militia. There's just not enough people on the island that can form a full-time militia. So it's just us four as of now." Avalanche's jaw drops; this was going to be a whole lot harder than he'd expected, "How many of the townspeople are the right age and physical condition to begin training? If those brigands attack, we won't be able to hold them back alone, assuming there's a whole shipload of them. When they come, everyone will need to be ready. Every man and woman of fighting age and good physical condition should be trained in the use of a wooden staff at least - shortswords for the most able ones, and bows for any who have some skill with them already. To beat those raiders, we're going to have to turn Tridentia's villagers into a fighting force." Quote
