oops, timezone diff error.

Anyway you could submit the licence form in advance?

Well I will aim to have it done in the next couple days. Though the rigging and masts always takes longer than I expect, which is why I am glad I have a little buffer.

The HMS Whisper is looking good! Can't wait to see her finished! How will she be rigged? pirate_blush.gif

HMS Whisper is almost complete. She will be ready to sail for this month's MRCA. Here is a quick preview of her present state.

Looking good, good luck with the rigging, hope you get her finished before the MRCA

She is finished now. I will take pictures in the morning when I have good lighting, and load it immediately after. I may even type it up tonight so it is ready when the pictures are.

Just saw the whole system for determing settlement trade value has changed, time to do some calculating again...

Where did you see this? Where has it been announced?

In the Master Index, Owning property

Non licensed moc`s now have a different trade value, there is cultural and educational subcategories...

Ach so. I would like to have seen an announcement on this. Otherwise it easily gets lost or overlooked! pirate_oh3.gif

It probably just got uploaded, I saw it by accident when I was looking for the property form to license my scientist residence

Since I just noticed it as well, I hope it is a new feature from April, and that we will get news in the Kings Port Advertiser.

Official announcement coming soon, guys. pirate_laugh2.gif

Yes indeed... after much robust deliberation, shouting, table-pounding and sword-fighting, the leadership has updated the rules. And hopefully for the betterment of all. :classic:

Interesting...

But there was no cider or rum involved?

I don't *burp* remember that part...

Sailing Captains of Corrington,

Philip Janszen and crew went down in zone 11 with the Eslandolan sloop Lady of Madrice. It is my hope that some Corrington vessel on its way to Port Raleigh may have happened upon survivors adrift in the ocean. If any such captain was able to pick up the survivors, I would like to be able to give them credit when I MOC the results of this month's MRCA. Thanks in advance for any assistance from you Brethren of the Brick Seas!

I don't think any of our ships actually sailed in the south this month.

Though if your survivors somehow drifted to area 3, my Valkyrie would be pleased to lend aid.

That works. What port did you go to? Kings Port?

My thanks to Capt Hildergard and the hearty crew of the Valkyrie!

We'd have returned to Port Raleigh. Drop you guys off at Nelissa then? Hilda's transfered to the sea sparrow, so acting Captain Velvetine has command :p

Actually, Janszen has business in Port Raleigh, so if you're returning there after your trade run, that's perfect. And I will amend my log to credit Captain Velvetine! (Which minifig is Velvetine?)

You don't happen to have a link to your figs as well do you? I'd like to build them for a rescue scene if I have the parts ^^

This build shows Captain Janszen (in blue, wearing the hat), his first mate, and the rest of the crew.

I think I might have the parts for your Captain but not his mate.

I was thinking perhaps we could do a collaborative MCRA FB.

You post a drifting scene, I post a drifters spotted scene, then we form a rescue scene kinda thing?

If you don't have pieces for the first mate, that's fine. (FYI, it's Will Turner from POTC with Shakespear's head.)

I'll post a drifting scene this week, perhaps spotting the Valkyrie and realizing she's coming to our aid. You can do a spotting scene or rescue scene or both, whatever you want. I could wrap up with our arrival at Port Raleigh. That gives us a couple of builds each, and will blend well with the story I'm working on with Fuzzy MacFuzz. Does that sound ok?

Sounds good. Let's roll with that.

PM me some shots whenever you're done so I can follow up :)
