November 7, 20159 yr Are I'm the only one here who don't excited with the new Hoth set?... Nope. But then again, Yes! A Wampa and a Tauntaun are the only things I actually wanted. So, one stop shopping for both a Tauntaun and a Wampa (which hasn't been around for nearly six years) Oh, and maybe we'll get a snow speeder! ...sorry. I'll croak if they waste parts on that. I'm holding out hope that we're not seeing the full monty, but by 2016 perhaps a glorified 8089/7749 combo is all our $250 will get us.
November 7, 20159 yr Shame there's only one stormie in the new TFA battle pack, we're going to end up with loads of those crew members with the odd helmets. Love the ugnaught though! Also love the Battlefront packs, great army builders and new alien rebels for my OT collection. Only not keen on the shocktrooper, looks more Clone Wars than Original trilogy. November 7, 20159 yr Yes! I like the resistance battle pack but I'll have to get used to the helmets. The FO battle pack is nice, I figured they would add a ground crew. It would have been nice to have 2 regular stormies but I do like the gun vest trooper. I guess that's a officer in there too.
November 7, 20159 yr I will be buying the new droid escape and the carbonite chamber for sure. However I am puzzled about the new OT stormie pack. What is that black line on top of the helmets above the eyes? Are we getting something different from what came in the advent calendar, ISD, and Slave I?
November 7, 20159 yr Wow, thanks CM4sci! None of the DPs really fit my army (Imperial, but im not a fan of the battledamage)), but its all nice looking stuff, the resistance speeder looks excellent! Ill be getting the Obi-wan interceptor most likely
November 7, 20159 yr Good to finally see the droid escape. My one complaint is that C3po didn't get arm printing or side leg printing like the polybag had (And unfortunately I can't just swap out the part since the polybag only has one gold arm and no silver leg). Great build though, looks a lot better than their last attempt.

November 7, 20159 yr So, it's January 1st today! Hey kids, who wants to create the awesome Jakku raid where squads of stormies attack and burn down the village? Who wants to create the amazing ground battle in the lush forests and abandoned castles that were full of Stormtroopers being shot at by X- wings? Who wants to create that scene where tonnes of stormies are being shot at in a hangar by a TIE Fighter? Too bad. You get to recreate the Star Destroyer corridor scenes full of Crew members. Thrilling. Seriously......WTF LEGO WITH THE FIRST ORDER BATTLE PACK?!
November 7, 20159 yr Problem with the battle damage is that it does not match the other OT stormies. I really had wanted to do a setup with Emperor's arrival scene in the DS, and basically the stormies need to be identical and not "damaged" for it to work. Besides, it does look silly that everyone will be damaged in the same spot. With that said, if that is the only difference in the printing, it could be salvageable with some nail polish remover and careful hands. Yes, I said it.
November 7, 20159 yr New book, wonder what the exclusive will be. Love those battlepacks! TFA especially, love the new helmets in dark tan. They have a new piece that connects like a visor. Why do three of the figs in 75131 have yellow heads? Visors, like the x-wing pilots.

November 7, 20159 yr I'm only a casual SW fan and all of these figures are looking good to me! I'll definitely pick them up. Great new molds and prints. I like the jetpack and the helmets on the resistance people.

I didn't exactly want this but I did sorta expect some sort of officer in the battle pack (since hoping for 4 Stormtroopers is waaaay too ambitious). It's just the fact that for young ones buying this set, HALF of their entire First Order army is gonna be officers. 1 is fine but not 2, that's just ridiculous. There better be a few FO stormies in another January set like the Batlle of Takodona.
