Well, it's probably different enough to warrant it's own set. Besides, they gotta start pumping out new TIEs with that new windscreen.

And is that 75144 Snowspeeder thing legit? We just got a FO Snowspeeder this year, and an OT snowspeeder last year. Two options: Rebels, or something new? [let speculation commence.]

No. Both of them are called TIE Advance but their are not the same thing. Vader's TIE Advance has solar panel for both inside and outside surface of the wings but the TIE prototype only have solar panel for inside surface of the wings. Plus, both of them has their design been different enough to have a set for each of them.

Regarding the potential new death star, what I'd really want compared to the last one (even though I love it and have it displayed ever since I bought it) is to have the exterior façades. Maybe it could simply split open in the middle to reveal the rooms, or each room could have a smaller movable facade. I don't know. But that's the only thing I'm guessing they could do to really improve from the last iteration and make me buy it (again).

There will be Finn and Rey Battle packs each with 4 exact copies of each figure.

Also, there will be a "Jar Jar Jar". It's a cookie Jar molded like a LEGO Jar-Jar.

In addition, a new ship, the Minimum Falcon will be a set. It's the Millennium Falcon but only with the bare parts needed for flight. They Hyperdrive, steering mechanisms, engine, etc.

And finally, a snowspeeder.

EDIT: I think you'll all like the Jar Jar Jar. It's quite a jarring product. Don't leave it ajar though, or the cookies might get musty and dank. Excuse the jargon, by "Musty and Dank" I meant stale.

Oddly, I'm sure this would sell pretty good. If made right.

Don't forget the posable ears and extending eye-stalks! They could kick it old-school, make it like the old Darth Maul bust.

This. Why would they put out anoter one? Sure, they put out another UCS X-Wing. But that ship is probably the second most iconic ship in Star Wars after the Falcon, plus, the first one was released back in 2000(when I was 6 years old, still bugs me that I missed out on so many of the older sets at normal prices).

Minifigures in old set really need an update. Lego has improved minifig quality since 2008. Plus some play features might be updated with new stud shooters and flick fire misiles. And they are probably going to make whole construction more stable. For me it's going to be great if they only update minifigs of the set, but they are more likely to redesign it a bit.

Yes, THAT set needs improvement. But I doubt they would make another minifigure vignette version, considering they are just now retiring it. I was thinking they might make an Episode IV Death Star.
