I'm pretty sure the protocol droid's meant to be E-3PO. Looks like he's in flat silver, like Phasma; EpII 3PO would probably have a brown arm and be in dark pearl gray, at least partly.

The official SW site has announced the new show, The Freemaker Adventures! The art revealed gives us another look at the Star Scavenger set and looks at the main characters, plus that "Mr. Bones"-ish droid (who still seems "Mr. Bones"-ish, and barring new colors or maybe printing he could probably be made right now with a Commando Droid torso, Geonosis BD head & arm & a plain tan arm; not sure about the legs yet).

I dig the torso prints for the family (tho that's a lot of yellow), and the Superman/Poe/Kevin hair in brown! Might have to get that ship after all..

Wow, the BvS Superman hairpiece has just been introduced and already it'll be available in four different colours this summer? That gotta be a new record  The characters look very Star Wars-y to me, well done  I wonder what purpose the battle droid will serve... maybe he's reprogrammed and reverts to his original state at times, which could offer some comedic potential

This premise doesn't interest me at all. But minifigs definitely look cool, just not cool enough to make me buy these sets, especially since they will probably include TFA tax( overpriced).

I love the concept they came up with. Freemakers... so they are scavengers who build ships from spare parts... it fits with the LEGO creativity theme PERFECTLY. I am really looking forward to it.

Is it just me or does Darth Vader's mask look like a balance between his old one piece helmet and his new 2 piece helmet? I know it looks different from his new mask as it's at my work desk right now.

I don't know about the sets but I am looking forward to the show. I've liked the Lego Star Wars TV stuff so far.

Is it me or do the Tie Fighters look like they are the OT variety with the bubble windscreen from 9492?

I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version of the Tie Fighter with the windscreen from the 75082: TIE Advanced Prototype set like we'll see in 75150: Darth Vader's TIE Advanced and A-wing Fighter.

Chances are the next Tie Fighter we get will be of the Rebels variety which is far too stumpy for my tastes. Although that would be easily modded by simply extending the wings.

Brick set has a report detailing the Toy Fair press release. The Rogue One sets were released in this and the price range was $9.99-$149.99 Seems interesting that we're getting such a large set but nice to see a small set aswell :)

Dark brown Superman hair is good. That's black, nougat, dark brown, and light yellow all in one year!

EDIT: I just noticed I missed my 5555th post, shoot.

This is good news :-)

LEGO® Assault on Hoth™ Base will Challenge Even the Most Skilled Fan Builders

The set features LEGO minifigure versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Toryn Farr, Wes Janson, Wedge Antilles, K-3PO, and more. Available May 1 for $249.99.

So it comes out in may but no pics yet... I guess this means we have to see it at TF right?

Yep!

Awesome sauce. :sweet:

There's going to be a $150 Rogue One set, interesting...and a $10 one even more interesting. Hype is building.

I'm guessing the $10 one is just a Microfighter.

Looks like a rectangular box.

Haven't we already had one?

Like, 4 years ago. This one will probably have updated printing.

So... The more I read this... Does anyone else think this sounds a lot like a combination of features in a lot of previous Hoth sets?
