Im hoping they replace 75055 with an arquitens light cruiser, but i dont see it happening, not enough screen time, and 75106 is still around, maybe when that one retires though...

Well ILC is getting quiet a nice screen time in season 2, almost every episode has it, and in some playes key role. So we might see it in the future as lego model.

The Imperial light cruiser or the imperial landing craft?.

Yes.

(both have had a lot of play this season... of course, the Landing Craft gets so much screen time because they don't have a model for a regular Lambda like the Tydirium yet, but with the Tydirium still in stores for a good long while I doubt TLG will make a Sentinel Landing Craft anytime soon)

I will never understand the psychology of someone posting what is quite clearly a fake list of releases. What possible satisfaction can someone get from such an act?

Otherwise, I cannot wait for the new battlepacks to be released :) Very cool!

I was just noticed 2/3 OT sets we are getting for January are from Episode V: the carbon freezing chamber and the hoth trench. If they are making an emphasis on sets from Empire for the OT we might then get a tie bomber in the summer wave. It's not needed; it's justified at this point. Its going on 13 years at this point without rerelease, and if we aren't getting cloud city in some form, I bet we're getting tie bomber.

I hope so, that would be great

I think J2g or Cms has said that there will be Rebels only wave in March. That will be our best chance to get new Inquisitors and older Ahsoka.

This is the first I've heard of it. I thought we were only getting the A-Wing. I do like the idea of Lego releasing additional smaller waves apart from the standard Summer and Winter ones. It worked out pretty well this year with the ROTJ/TPM sets.

Please can I remind everyone not to quote images, especially if they're on the current page. I've spent quite a lot of my time recently updating posts and adding 'Please don't quote images, thanks!' in the comments, and it would be nice if I didn't have to :classic: Also, please can everyone adhere to the site guidelines regarding posts (link), in particular:

Sentences begin with a capital letter and end with some form of punctuation.
  • Making lots of short posts may increase your post count, but they also increase your chances of being asked to leave the site. If you have something meaningful to add to a conversation, it will probably consist of more than one sentence. And those sentences will be separated by a space. Or a line.
  • When you reply to a post, it isn't necessary to quote the whole thing, just include the part you need to reply to, whether it be a sentence or an image. If you're quoting the entire post complete with 500 words and 10 images just to say "that's nice", don't.

The Imperial light cruiser or the imperial landing craft?.

If they give us a landing craft rather then a light cruiser im going to flip, the previous landing craft was such a dissapointing set, my most regretted purchase together with the Tie defender

I do hope we see a real list of the summer sets soon. I was really exited for the list that was revealed the other day but it has been proven that it is a fake list. :sceptic: I think I need to stop being so gullible.

For the record the Battle Packs and Kanan's Speeder are all available over on Amazon.de

So if you wanna pay £12.33 / $18.50 for a BP, or, y'know, use the euro, then be mah guest! http://www.amazon.de

(But makes sure to type the set number not the name, as most have been mistranslated).

They probably find it funny to trick gullible people into believing a fake leak, most people would call it "trolling".

I never fell for the so-called "leak", I hope the guy who made the leak gets banned

Pre-order's...

Available from 19 December.

So will the sets release right after The Force Awakens? or will you be able pre-order them on December 19th?

After mulling over the FO battle pack, I actually like it. Although some people are mad they included only one stormtrooper, I think I understand why they did that. We are getting three films, and like the OT, I doubt the stormtroopers are going to go through armor phases like in the PT. Therefore, I doubt it would be a stretch to say we'll be getting a great number of them in the upcoming years due to their presence in the following films. We're getting two more in the Battle for Takodana, and surely more in sets to come. The heavy gunner truly isn't a bad figure, either. Technically, he's a stormtrooper armed with a space MG34/42. What's there not to love? He's pretty accurate to the images from the film.

True.

Oddly, I'm most excited about the heavy gunner figure than anything else that I've seen so far for 2016.

Fair point regarding more stormies in sets to come. But knowing Lego, next year's batch will have slightly different printing, and so will be those for the year after that. Grrrrrrrr.

But no space MG34/42. :cry_sad: Prepare yourselves for the inevitable thousands of MOCed heavy guner guns.

True.

+100. Why the hate on the heavy gunner? The only real drawback to the fig is the lack of his weapon.

This is something I've been thinking about lately.... how can Lego top off the printing that's going on now? I mean, the original 90s Stormtrooper minifigures obviously had room for improvement, but these new 2014 ones? I don't know if I would want to see a Stormtrooper minifigurewith more printing than the latest one. And now, with the FO stormtroopers, we're in the same boat that we were in ~16 years ago. I don't know if there will be a new iteration of FO stormtrooper printing. Maybe when TLG standardizes arm and side-leg printing.

The current OT Stormies and PT Clones still have the black "T-crotch" on the legs. It was fine in the 90s where it added some colour variation, but it looks dated now and is completely unneccessary now when the black undersuit can just be printed on the legs.

TFA Stormtroopers don't have the black crotch and they look much better without it.

Still available on the US Shop@Home but I imagine they'll be gone very, very soon.

Hard to see how a new version could improve much. Can't wait to find out though.

True, I guess that is an improvement that could be made... it would be a shame to see that classic T-crotch leave, though. But looking at pics of OT stormies, I think the black T-crotch is the best way to go. There's more of the undersuit visible in the OT than there is on the new TFA ones.

The Death Star is officially retiring... Another sign of a new one coming.

Is there actual solid evidence of a new Death Star? The retirement of the UCS MF didn't constitute as evidence of a new one coming.

Edit: Just saw that markw shares my sentiments with regards to the crotches.

Welp, time for me to eat crow. I didn't believe we were getting another one,and my opinion has now changed. It's going to be an interesting and expensive year with the possibility of a revised Death Star and Echo base...

Shark, I'm also a fan of the black hands and crotch pieces on the OT stormtroopers. The all white FO troops seem a little too "blank canvas", but I can get over it. At least, it's another point to differentiate them from their OT predecessors.

In the 7 years since it's release just think of all the new parts and minifigure advancements that TLG have developed, as a SW minifig collector I simply cannot wait to hear the list of updated and new minifigs it will include.

After seeing the excellent recent rendition of Wulff Yularen I have high hopes for a new Grand Moff Tarkin!

(Ooh and a new Dianoga)
